Stayed Nov 18, 2023The house is amazing and exactly as the pictures described it. It is a beautiful villa about 5 min walk from the main Boudhha road and about 10 minutes walk from Budhha stupa. We booked it for family stay and some pre-wedding ceremonies and had to get permission from the host for the same. Initially we had trouble connecting with the host (property manager - based out of a different country). We made several attempts by phone, vrbo messages, and whatsapp. But once we got in touch with Maiya, we were in good hands. Maiya and her husband are the best hosts I have come across and we've been using vacation rentals for over a decade now. They were always helpful, providing items, connecting us with vendors, and even helped arrange food for 30 people (house guests and other guests) last minute. Don't know how would we have managed without them. All through the process, they were there helping us and supporting us. The ceremonies resulted in some chaos, flowers all over the place, and even some damage to their beautiful intricate furniture. They just shrugged it off as by products of the pre-wedding ceremonies. At times, they were more family than my own family. I cannot say enough good things about them. And we made plans to meet the next time they are in my city. If you are a bigger group and looking for the famous Nepali hospitality, you cannot go wrong with this place. Highly recommend 10/10
