We had a wonderful week in mid Sept in this villa. The villa was so well equipped and the pool was immaculate. It was wonderful to be able to enjoy the views of the hills from the veranda, and the luxury of our own very private and big pool in the heat of the day. The villa has everything you could need to self cater, with a good choice of supermarkets and shops in Sao Bras. We liked that although the villa is very luxurious, it also.has a homely feeling, so we felt we could relax. We loved the little town of Sao Bras de Alportel, it really has everything you could want, with several restaurants a wonderful patisserie on the square and takeaways if you need them. It is not in any way touristy, but has an interesting history and very friendly locals. Worth noting though, most places don't take card and a lot is closed Sat from 1pm till Tuesday morning. There are ATMs in the town though, and it is worth finding the little carpark near the Santander bank which saves a lot of hassle trying to park on the street. We loved our first visit to Portugal, the villa owners were very good at communication, and helpful. Do ask their advice about hire cars as you will need one. We booked through the airline which was our only mistake. We look forward to coming back in the near future.

Just returned from our stay. Had a really lovely time and would highly recommend this villa. Communication with helpful owner was great from start to finish. Located in a quiet area, very private setting with beautiful views. Extremely comfortable, clean & very well equipped.

This property does not disappoint. My husband and I spent a relaxing week with our son, daughter-in-law, five year old granddaughter and thirteen week old twin grandsons at this beautiful villa. It has everything you would need for a wonderful holiday, including a very comfy shaded terrace/dining area with spectacular views. Communication with the hosts was excellent, including clear directions and instructions. They provided two travel cots and were very helpful in allowing us a later check out to accommodate the babies' feeds. During the heat of the day, the five year old could play in her bedroom or watch TV in the air-conditioned lounge. The pool was wonderful, much warmer than we had expected. The villa was spotless and well-maintained. A car is essential to get to local restaurants or shops and being so close to the airport, the easy transfer was a bonus with small children.

Great property in great location with awesome hosts. Our family could not have been happier with our experience. The property and location exceeded all of our expectations! We will stay here again on our next trip to Portugal and the Algarve.

An excellent, well-appointed villa. The swimming pool is better than any we have enjoyed in other similar villa holidays worldwide / five star hotels. The finishing, furnishings, appliances, A/C were all of a very high standard. The views and the terraced gardens are a whole lot better than the internet pictures suggest. Michael was most accessible and helpful.

Very secluded and private villa which we loved. Easy to find with the directions provided. Close to supermarket and dinning facilities. Central for visiting various sites in the area. Lovely spacious pool and veranda were the highlights and made the holiday very special for the children.

The villa is well off the beaten track, even the local taxi drivers struggled to find it. It has stunning views morning, noon and night. The local town is a five minute drive and is very cheep for eating out (Lois chicken is a must), there are a few supermarkets if you choose to use one of the magnificent BBQs in the villa. The villa is well furnished and it was nice that all bedrooms were ensuite.
