Stayed Jul 23, 2022A perfect place for a mixed family group summer holiday. Nice shady garden for a hot summer. If I had a complaint it would be that such a large house would benefit from more upstairs bathrooms.

Stayed Aug 19, 2017Our large family spent 2 very enjoyable weeks at this wonderful property. We have been holidaying in France for 30 years, never returning to the same place but we are seriously considering returning to this property again next year. The owners were extremely helpful and made us feel very welcome. The house itself was perfect for us, there were 17 of us for the 2nd week and it never felt over crowded, there was always a quiet spot available if needed, whether on one of the many sea view balcony’s, in the garden or in the house itself. The house is well equipped for 18 people with plenty of glasses, cutlery, etc. The children in the group loved being so near to the sea, with the beach just across the road we found we spent much of our time just relaxing on the beach. For the older members of the group the nearby beach bar was a welcome retreat, reasonably priced and excellent quality. For the obligatory market or for a change of bar/restaurant the town of St Gilles Croix De Vie is within an easy walk with “Moulerie De La Gare” and “KF Du Port” being particular favourites. The cyclists in the group enjoyed the Vendee Velo route which passed by the front door, cyclists are very well catered for in this area and it was a joy to take in the local sites from the saddle. We also enjoyed day trips to Puy Du Fou (both the Grand Parc and Cinescenie) – a must if you’ve never been before and to Atlantic Toboggan. All in all a great holiday!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Three generations of us had a fantastic holiday in this huge house. Right on the coast road with amazing views from most the windows, there is a massive amount of crockery and cutlery, etc. The beds are marvellously comfortable too and the adult bedrooms have balconies overlooking the ocean. Marie-Thèrese and her husband manage this immaculate house and nothing is too much trouble. Thank you Anne for sharing your beautiful house.
