Stayed Aug 24, 2019We found Martin and his colleagues very friendly and helpful. On arrival, Martin met us at the office and took us to the villa. he then showed us round and introduced us to the facilities despite arriving late due to the flight delay. As for the villa Leonore itself, we found it very clean, luxurious with everything one needs during their stay. You get what you see in the property photos and more. The pool is beautiful and it gets cleaned every other day. There are also lovely sandy beaches about 10 minutes drive from the villa which we really liked. We highly recommend hiring a car as there are nearby towns and cities where you can visit in the evenings, after spending the day in the pool or sea, for a meal or a stroll along the waterfront. For example we found Cambrils very nice with waterfront shops and restaurants open passed 11:00pm. We also visited Barcelona which is around one and half hour drive from the villa. We definitely recommend familyvillas to our family and friends, and we will go back as soon as we get another opportunity. Thank you Martin and Sara for making our stay a memorable one. Ali & Sherry

Stayed Aug 4, 2018We were a family of 3 staying for 1 week in August 2018. Very impressed with the villa, so clean and spacious and very private. Extremely well equipped with everything you could need. The pool was big and the summer house so convenient with its toilet and shower. It would have been nice if the sun loungers were easier to move, ie had wheels, but this was pretty minor. The 10 minute walk to the restaurant/play area turned out to be more like 20 minutes, but that could have been the extreme temperatures! The local beach which was a short 10 minute drive was absolutely lovely and had a good restaurant/bar for refreshments. We took a trip to Aquapolis water park. Thankfully we booked online so it was cheaper, but the queues were so bad we didn't feel like we had a good deal. We also visited Cambrils which was absolutely lovely and highly recommended. I would definitely re-book this villa if we were to come back to Spain again, but this time remember to take the 138 euros that are payable on arrival in cash which I don't think was made clear enough at the booking stage.

Stayed May 15, 2018The villa really has everything that you need, from an extension cable to every size of glass or plate. The villa was very clean on arrival, everything worked or there was a manual to show you how. Collecting the key was easy ans didn't have any issues. Couple of things to note. We went on mid May and the pool was cold (this is to be expected, and isn't a complaint) There are 3 steps into the villa and steps to the car area. The beds and furniture in the lounge are very low and access to the shower is tight. Therefore I would say this villa is not suitable for the disabled or anyone who has difficulty walking. You defiantly need a car, it is a drive anywhere. In the quieter season there is only a small choice of restaurants, within 10 mins drive but all that we tried were good. The streets in nearby towns are very narrow so dont hire too big a car!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Villa Leonore is a luxury 2 bedroom villa in Les Tres Calles (The Three Coves) on the Costa Dorada. It is based on an estate of Villas and is set right at the top away from the main road in a quiet unmade road. There is a well stocked supermarket at the entrance to the estate and a lovely restaurant La Bambalina just 10 minutes walk away. The beaches are just 10 mins by car. You will need a car to stay here if you wish to get about. Tarragona and Reus are nearby and worth a visit as is the Ebre Delta to see the flamingos. Portadvetura and Aquopolis are only 35 minutes away and a must for our teenagers The villa itself is about 10 years old and well cared for. It is managed by Family villas an agent whose offices are on the estate and open daily. The manager Martin is English and all the staff spoke English as well. The Villa is all arranged on one floor. It has two large bedrooms that both benefit from air conditioning. There are two bathrooms one with a shower and one a bath. The Towels supplied were nice and fluffy and little things like a potty and a step were included for small children to use. The kitchen is well equipped and has all the utensils you need. The welcome pack of bread, water milk and cleaning cloths, washing up liquid, t - towels etc was very welcome. There is a microwave, Dishwasher, toaster, hob and cooker - all sparklingly clean. There is a huge lounge with games , books, guides and two comfy sofas. There is TV but channels are limited. Outside there is a wonderful pool and area to relax with 4 sun loungers. There is always somewhere to find shade. The outdoor pool house has an shower and toilet incorporated which is really handy and keeps the villa dry! There is even a washing machine and a washing line with hundreds of pegs available to use. A wonderful villa and a place i would not hesitate to book again if i was returning to this region again.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969This is by far our favourite villa of all the villa holidays we have taken over the last 10 years in Spain. The villa is a large 2 bedroom villa, this time we holidayed by ourselves, my wife and myself, but the villa would be suitable for 4/5 people easily. We found the villa very comfortable and homely, with a very luxurious feel. We enjoyed the summer house and the dining conservatory, for early morning coffee look out across the garden. We will certainly return again. The villa was spotlessly clean and the pool was well tended to.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969This villa really is very special, it is by far the best villa we have ever stayed in and we will definitely be returning again. We saw from the guest book at the villa that many guests return year after year and we could really see why. The villa was imaculately clean and is very well furnished and equiped. We had been to the area before and enjoyed going back to The Ebro Delta to the nature reserve and the lovely towns L'Ametlla and L'Ampolla, there is a lot to see in the area and the beaches are beautiful. We received an excellent level of service form Family Villas and we will be contacting them soon to book again.
