We had a wonderful family weekend at this lake house on Shadow Lake. The location was absolutely perfect, just minutes from the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park and close to all the charm of Grand Lake. Our four boys had the best time paddle boarding right off the private dock, roasting marshmallows by the water, swimming, and relaxing at the beach nearby.The house was in a great spot, peaceful and scenic while still being convenient to town. We loved walking through the shops and grabbing ice cream after a day of adventure. There are so many trails in the area for all levels, and the views are breathtaking. It was the perfect place to unplug and reconnect as a family. We would absolutely stay here again.

Becca the property manager was outstanding! Her communication on the check-in process was great and overall she touched base with us periodically to make sure everything was good. The house itself was beautifully decorated with a first class touch. Kayaks and paddleboards were used daily and provided fun on the water. Located right on Shadow Mountain Lake gave us such breath taking views along with easy access to the lake. And having different kinds of wildlife around and near the property was amazing! We would stay here again!

This is hands down one of the most glorious homes to treat yourself with in Colorado. When we walked in to the home the first time, all my (adult) children were in awe - and we have stayed in nice rental homes. The view right off of the lake is stunning, which can be enjoyed from multiple views inside, including the hot tub on the outside deck. The interior furniture has been updated with comfortable and attractive couches and chairs. The interior finishes are high end, but not so pretentious that you're walking on egg shells - rather, it's there to be appreciated and thoroughly enjoyed. The kitchen was outfitted with so many utensils, pots, pans, crockpots, even spices that we were lacking nothing when we fixed a large Christmas dinner. All that you would ever want to cook with and more is available. Heated floors in the downstairs entry were welcomed in the cold!Communication with Becca was wonderful and timely, and she had numerous helpful suggestions for local activities. This was a dream vacation come true. If you haven't been to Grand Lake, it's like a town you'd see in a Hallmark movie (in all the right ways!). It's quiet, serene, beautiful, accessible, with just enough food and shopping options to enjoy without being overwhelmed. Highly highly recommend!

My family of four (plus dog) thoroughly enjoyed this property. We have stayed in a number of Grand Lake rentals, and the experience with this property was incomparable. The location is spectacular, and the view of Mount Baldy over the lake never grew old. The children never had an idle moment, and took full advantage of the wonderful dock and lake access for paddle boarding and fishing. The host was extremely responsive, the property was well maintained and thoughtfully equipped/decorated, and the entire experience was positive. We will not hesitate to book this property again.

The house is absolutely beautiful and in the best possible location lakefront with dock and close to downtown Grand Lake. We spent most days enjoying the main living areas including the large deck with the hot tub and the views. The house was perfect for two families especially if you have a lot of kids to fill up the bunks. Becca was a great host and incredibly communicative. We'll definitely be back.

Rebecca was an amazing host. It was evident from the moment we booked our trip she wanted to ensure we enjoyed it. She was extremely easy to reach and was very attentive. So much thought went into all of the suggestions she had for us from where to eat to where to hike. Definitely take her recommendations! The home and property is simply stunning. We would give this property 10 stars if we could. We can’t wait to come back!

OFF THE CHARTS! Crazy beautiful home with an unbeatable location. Gorgeous views, right on the water, with a private dock and water toys! Easy walk to town and cute shops.This home that has clearly been lovingly built and furnished. We felt very fortunate the owners shared it with us. Not one of us wanted to leave. We definitely hope to return!

My husband and I treat ourselves to 1-3 VRBOs/year and have been blessed to work with, and occasionally meet, some fantastic owners. But Ryan and Becca take the cake; their communication is 2nd to none. Their home is one of the most beautiful on the lake and they truly cared about all the details. Even though there were some windy and rainy days, the house was stocked with puzzles and games that entertained both the young and old. The views are stunning, the fishing was awesome, and our week there was magical. We walked to the bridge every night and saw a gorgeous black bear, enjoyed the North Inlet and East Shore hikes where we we viewed, osprey, 2 moose, and marmots. Coming home to such an incredible house was topping on the cake. There is a master suite upstairs next to a loft with 2 bunk beds, and down stairs there is a master suite next to a room with 2 bunk beds and a pull out. Ideal for 2 large families. Having the common area separate from the sleeping areas gave everyone privacy. Do not hesitate to book this house. Pro-tip: if you like a firm mattress, choose the top story master, if you are a weirdo and like your mattress soft, choose the downstairs master. 10 stars!!!!!
