Last minute for June - romantic villa with pool and BBQ, 6 min from the sea

Lovely house in the Hill. With Nice outside space, bbq area and pool.

What an incredible place to stay!We met the host, Manuela, at her nearby home who led us by car to the villa. She gave us a lovely tour of the house and she was incredibly welcoming and friendly, including leaving us various welcome gifts of delicious locally sourced (and family-made!) food and drinks. The villa was beautiful, exceeding all expectations and equipped with everything we needed, including towels for both bathroom and pool, and a very helpful folder of tips for shopping and trips in the local area. Manuela gave us lots of information too, and was happy to message us during our stay with queries we had- so helpful.The kitchen was well appointed and we also cooked on the barbeque outside a few times.The pool was a lovely size and well maintained. There were several very comfortable seating areas inside and out (including a very popular hammock!) as well as lovely bedrooms and en-suites, all pristinely clean.The views from the villa were breathtaking. It was truly incredible to wake up to every day.A short drive to the very pretty town and then a short walk from the car park next to the sea led to stunning beaches with excellent snorkling! Lots of choice for food in the town and beyond, all with gorgeous sea views.The children all had a fabulous time, as did the adults! We were sad to leave- it really was the perfect choice for our holiday with friends and family.Thank you so much Manuela! Truly a holiday we will treasure the memories of forever.

We had the best time at Villa Lavanda! This home is fabulous and has been meticulously renovated - it felt so special to stay here; a true Dalmatian gem! Manuela was a lovely host, super attentive and friendly. She set up a baby crib for our daughter and was always available via text. Highlights: AMAZING POOL and Garden, very large comfortable bedrooms, 5 min drive to Podgora beaches, gorgeous sunsets and unreal views of Croatia from any of the FIVE balconies. I hope I can stay here again some day in the future!

We had a beautiful week in Manuelas House. So very clean, well decorated, nice and cozy. Delicius treats upon arrival. Thank you so much. A lovely pool and flowet garden and a stunning view from the bed rooms over Podgora and the sea and Islands. Missed an owen in the kitchen, but found other ways to cook our meals on the grill outside. This holiday House gets our best recommendations?

Great place with all what you need and a very helpfull Manuela. Fantastic views to the sea and the mountains. The only negative thing is, that it takes to long to walk to Podgora. Thank you for having us.

This was a perfect villa for two families to relax in Croatia. The outdoor area and pool were the highlight with plenty of shade and a fantastic swimming pool. Bedrooms are large and airconditioned and the house is set on four floors which gave everyone privacy. It's in an idyllic old-town setting next to a beautiful church and has fantastic views across to the neighbouring islands (plus a stunning mountain backdrop). The local town of Podgora is smaller and a lot nicer than Nearby Makaska (which was very busy and touristy) and we found some really good restaurants on the harbour. Highlights for the kids were diving from the harbour, the inflatable aquapark on the beachfront, a boat trip to nearby islands, and the trip to the mountain Zipwire. Manuela was an excellent host and on hand to answer any questions. We were grateful for a plate of local meat and cheese and delicious homemade wine which greeted us after a long flight. She also changed the bedding and towels halfway through our stay, which was appreciated. The only slight drawback was the 10-minute drive to the town on a winding road with steep drops. We soon got used to this. Overall, we thoroughly recommend this villa and the host Manuela.

We spent a lovely time at this amazing villa. Manuela was a kind and present host. The villa itself has lovely balconies and a great feel. It’s only a few mins drive away from Podgora and other towns worth visiting. The drive down to the town is a bit tricky with very windy roads. If you’re going to the beach, bring beach shoes as you’ll need them. Mosquito repellent is also a must. We did a lovely boat trip with Fish and Trips which was great fun. Overall we recommend staying at this beautiful villa.

The house is located on top of the town with the best view at the seaside and Sun-Rise and Fall. We loved our days and Evenings in the pool and garden and the many nice rooms with a lot of privacy for each one. The best part was the host itself though - as you read before maybe too, we had the best cheese and bacon for our welcome a bottle of wine and a limoncelli - and a lot of help wherever needed. Manuela is a very nice person and speaks perfect German and good English. Podgora is also a nice location close to the beautivul makarska but not yet too crowded. Also to go to Split or Trogir is still duable for half or a full day. And we also did a wonderful tour by boat to Hvar and Brac. Plitvicer Lakes is 3 Hours - so a bit far - but also doable for a day trip and we also loved Krka - which is 1,5 hours away. The mix of swimming in the salty sea and in the clear pool was just perfect. I finished a lot of books reading...that means something. Special Thing- from now on there is the second part of the house to be rented too - also with a pool. Both houses can be unitedt though opening the door of the garden - having to pools then. Our stay in Villa Lavanda amazing. First of all Manuela was as friendly and as professional as she could be. We had warm welcome to the house host with traditional Dalmatian appetizers, home made olive oil, home made delicacy etc. Villa is nestled on the perfect place, under the Biokovo mountains , away from tourist crowd with a stunning view on Adriatic see. Tranquil place within just short drive to the best beaches :Podgora, Tucupi, Igrane etc. Also, just minutes drive to beautifull Makarska. Sunset from the balconies is indescribably beautiful. We will be back !

Villa Lavanda is such a special place! It is spotlessly clean, kitted out to a very high standard with everything you could need for your stay and decorated beautifully by Manuela who has made very room unique and a pleasure to spend time in. From the moment we arrived in Podgora, Manuela was there to help us with anything we needed and greeted us with a such warmth. She showed us around the villa and answered all of our many questions. She also made herself available to us at anytime to answer further questions we had and responded to us quickly whenever we needed her. The villa itself blew us away. It was definitely one of the nicest places we have stayed. Perched on the side of the mountain it took us a while to get used to the windy roads back and forth from Podgora, but also gave us the most stunning views! The outside of the villa is just beautiful. Manuela has done an amazing job with the plants, pool area and quality seating available. We spent many happy hours enjoying the hammock whilst watching the sunset in the evening! The pool is very clean and spacious enough for the children to enjoy at every possible opportunity! My youngest daughter also very much appreciated the trampoline - a lovely touch. Thank you Manuela for being such a wonderful host. We loved our holiday staying in your stunning villa.
