Perfect spot for a home base in Spain. A beautiful drive from Barcelona and close to the many, many beautiful villages along the coast.My family along with international friends stayed in this amazing VRBO in Roses, Spain. The trip could not have been better! There was plenty of space, numerous locations to congregate, and a dining room table large enough to accommodate our party. The pool greatly refreshing after a hot day of seeing the sites.Rooms were clean and plentiful, kitchen nice, view from terrace and from pool were spectacular.It was probably the best VRBO I ever rented.I hope to return soon!

A wonderful villa with superb views across the bay and spectacular sunsets over the Pyrenees. Lots of areas to relax whether by the pool or around the villa. Spacious rooms with everything needed to enjoy the stay. Fantastic hosts always ready to provide recommendations and answer questions. Quite a steep hill up to the villa but absolutely worth it when you reach it. We had a brilliant holiday.

This property was lovely - plenty of room, many places to relax, beautiful views, quiet and private - it had it all! We chose this property because we wanted to have a nice place to come home to at the end of the day. It was absolutely that and so much more. The more comes from the incredible host, Bojana. At every step of the way she was attentive to what we liked to do, made fabulous recommendations and was simply delightful to work with. You can tell she holds this region very special to her heart and knows many people and great places to go. This was our first trip to Spain so planning it provided some uncertainty, but she always found a way to set my mind at ease and help me plan a trip that will never be forgotten. We are so very grateful, not only for the beautiful home, but for her lovely hospitality!

While the property was lovely, our experience with this villa was extremely disappointing. We rented this house for six adults for a week. For the price of this listing, the amenities are severely lacking, and what is provided is cheap and of poor quality. For example, for a week long stay there was only a single roll of prison grade toilet paper in each restroom. The bath towels were small and thin, and no towels were provided for the pool. We had to make multiple trips to purchase basic items that should have been included, such as soap and tissues. There are no hot pads in the kitchen. The hospitality and communication were poor. Bojana showed up at the property in the middle of our stay without notifying us, and proceeded to both enter the house and look around the outdoor area. This was extremely uncomfortable and deeply inappropriate, and a real violation of the privacy we expected to enjoy. Our checkout process was equally disrespectful - Bojana had us wait while she walked through the property to inspect it and lectured us about a wineglass that had broken in the dishwasher (dishwasher detergent was not provided). It was a terrible experience, and I was embarrassed that my family had to be subjected to it. The house is indeed very beautiful, but the stingy amenities and the intrusive, inappropriate behavior of the property management make it a very poor investment.

This property is as advertised! Bojana did a great job of communicating in a timely fashion, was thorough in her answers, and went above and beyond to meet our needs/requests. We spent a quiet week over Christmas and were able to enjoy the fireplace, the spectacular sunsets, and drink some awesome wines. The grill and outdoor dining are perfectly located outside the kitchen. The bedrooms are located in different areas which provide another level of privacy. The house does have a lot of stairs (40) to get to the front door and several different levels within the house itself. This would make it challenging for older and/or mobility-challenged individuals. With that said, the house has an open design, making it perfect for great dinners, laughing, and enjoying everyone's company all the while looking out over the bay! The house is centrally located and is great for going north to France or along the coast to all the special villages and hamlets. Bojana was great at recommending day trips and restaurants. Overall, this is a great place for the price!
