Good location- close to Larnaca and airport. House was clean and had everything we needed. Supermarkets, local beaches, banks etc. were all close.

A very nice property spacious, clean, wonderful pool, all the amenities you could possibly need. The beach us about 15 minutes by car, shopping as well. There is a restaurant and an incredible bakery nearby. Good location to explore the south and east of the island, also part of the Troodos Mountains. Close to the airport in Larnaca, but no noise from planes. We had a great time there!

Our first holiday outside of the UK for 3 years (since COVID) and we don’t want to leave. Communication during the booking and arrival process with Carol was excellent, no issues at all. The villa itself is beautiful, probably one of the nicest we’ve ever stayed in - really spacious and modern with insect nets and black out blinds at all the windows and was absolutely spotless. We used the little takeaway in the village a couple of times when we didn’t feel like going out (yummy) and the bakery next door has some amazing treats - we visited there far more than we should have. All in all a fantastic holiday in a gorgeous villa. One of the photos in the listing shows a small bistro style table and chairs outside which was missing (table missing) and it mentions that there is rattan furniture on the balcony which was missing also. The listing just needs updating accordingly but this really didn’t take away from how much we’ve enjoyed staying - we’d not hesitate to stay again. Thank you Carol and Chris xx

Beautiful property but expensive for its location. Hardly no amenities but 20 minutes from nearest town and supermarket by car. The property had everything one needs but the cleanliness was unacceptable. Stained sheets with hairs in between in one of the beds. I was reassured that they were cleaned. No pillow protectors and stained yellow. Kitchen utensils and pans had left over grease and food, which were immediately replaced with new ones when I informed the owner. Kitchen towels were dirty and had to be washed. Kitchen drawers and cupboards left in a mess and not very clean. The property unlike most villas is not cleaned on a weekly basis, sheets and towels not replaced weekly so I had to clean everything myself. We may be more fussy than most but I expected better cleanliness than this especially during the current pandemic. The sofa was ant infested so I had to buy ant killer and spray and vacuum it a few times. The pool was very well maintained regularly.

We had a great stay at Amen Corner. Arrival was straightforward, even though we arrived in the small hours of the morning. Angela, the villa manager, met us the next day and made us welcome. The villa is at the edge of a small village - but only 5 mins from the main A road, so easy to get around and explore the main sites and beaches. We walked (10 -15 mins) to the two tavernas and great bakery, which is more like a small grocery. There's a small supermarket in the next village, and a big one 15 mins drive down the A5. The villa is spotlessly clean, and well equipped with plenty of kitchen equipment, cutlery and crockery, and all sorts of unexpected extras like a water cooler, board games and a picnic bag. Great TV (we only watched local channels), reliable wifi, effective air conditioning. Everything worked. The pool is lovely and also pristine - it was cleaned several times during our 10 day stay. Plenty of comfortable places to sit, both inside and outside. We enjoyed listening to the birds and watching the swallows and swifts dart around.

We enjoyed our 7 week stay in Amen Corner. Because we were in Cyprus for so long, we wanted a place that was quite central to visit all parts of the island, so this was great for that. We would drive 15 min to McKenzie beach, where we would frequently go on our morning walks along the promenade. Our kids attended Greek lessons 10 min away, which was also the distance to large grocery stores. We often walked 20 min from the villa to an excellent bakery . The check in and check out was seamless, as Angela was very easy and accommodating. Exchanges of money was easy through bank transfer and damage deposit was promptly received. She was a great resource, very sweet and easy going. She even came over to the villa to give us a boost for our dead battery on our vehicle. A pleasurable experience overall!

We were initially very hesitant in taking the Amann corner as the way to pay was directly to Angela's account. But it was all very smooth and very honest, so if you are wondering about the payment method you have nothing to fear. Otherwise the actual villa is beautiful spacious and really comfortable and the location is ideal. The pool is beautiful and very private. we would definitely come back.

Never left a review before but taking the time here as our holiday was so easy. Amen Corner is very large, very cool and well equipped. Previous guests have left bits and bobs in the kitchen so check the many drawers before you go to the supermarket. Top Tip - throw a couple of dishwasher tabs in your case so you can load the dishwasher when you get there. It's all clean anyway but why not. Whole villa is extremely clean and tidy inside & out. Kids loved the latest movies on the TV, and I mean - latest. The pool is cleaned twice a week very early by a ninja. Only the clean pool and footprints betray his presence. The deep end came up to my shoulders and I'm 5'11. Shallow end was fine for young kids so it's a good depth for families. The villa is nestled amongst a few holiday homes with pools which wasn't obvious to me when booking but then I didn't ask! There is a medium sized supermarket 10 minutes drive away which should be more than adequate. Stocks both local and overseas goods. Plenty of fresh stuff. It's really good. A store opposite the supermarket is like a B&M store and very useful for packets of snacks and drinks etc. if you have children who like their home brands. Between the two you can find anything. All payments were made to the very helpful lettings manager Angela via bank transfer. It's all above board and my holding deposit was promptly returned in full after the trip. Nothing to worry about. It seemed odd to me at first but they're on Holiday Rentals and thank goodness I trusted them. The restaurant you pass just before the villa is fantastic, full of locals and very affordable. Don't over order as they bring loads of bread and fruit etc. You'll love it. It's cheap so you can tip well! If you can get there and order before 10 pm when you land it will make your first night a lot more enjoyable. Lastly, take a moment during your stay to look at the beautiful staircase in Amen Corner. No idea if it's marble or polished granite but you'll love walking up it your bare feet and pondering just how old that stone is. Hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did.
