Large Villa In Alhaurin El Grande with Private Pool & Games Room

We visited for 12 days, and had an excellent time. The villa is exactly as advertised, and if anything larger in real life. There is ample outside room with a decent sized pool, very large bbq and outdoor seating area, large gardens, along with plenty sitting room on the wraparound porch. Internally there are five double bedrooms (one master) across two floors, three showers, four toilets. Good sized kitchen and indoor dining area, large lounge, and large games room (pool, darts, boardgames etc) downstairs, along with a further large room with a full sized table tennis table. There is a separate laundry room with plenty outside hanging space for washing.There is a long driveway with secure electric gates for privacy and security. The host is always contactable, and quick to respond.The villa is fairly unique in that is very quiet and completely private (i.e. no one can oversee you).The views from the villa are simply picturesque.Happy to strongly recommend this villa for family holidays, or a friends getaway.

The stay was brilliant, the combination of the games room, the pool, the size of the property and location all made the holiday fabulous. I could not have wished for a better place to stay . I would recommend it to anyone

I recently stayed at this amazing house with my family, and I can honestly say it’s the most fully-equipped vacation home we’ve ever been to. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by everything it offers. There’s a ping-pong table, a pool table, a dart board, tons of board games – you name it! The BBQ area is absolutely fantastic, perfect for family cookouts and long evenings outside.It’s truly a place you never want to leave – everything you need for fun, relaxation, and comfort is right there. That said, if you do want to explore, the location is ideal. The house is just 5 minutes from town, where you'll find incredible shops, local charm, and everything else you might need.As a small note for improvement, we felt that the general cleanliness of the house could be better. It's not a dealbreaker at all, but with a bit more attention to detail in this area, the experience would be absolutely perfect.We had an amazing time and would recommend this place to anyone looking for the perfect mix of comfort, entertainment, and convenience. Can't wait to come back!

We had a splendid time in the house. The owner could not be any more kind and flexible. The property is really well equipped! Kids loved the pool area and all the water toys provided. All the bathrooms and toiles were clean. The house isn’t new so we didn’t expect to shine but we were trying to keep all the necessary rules to keep ants and bees out of the house. I must say the front patio is a top spot for a sunsets in May! Morning coffee with the mountain view - just spectacular. The location is a plus. Just couple minutes drive from La Grande , close to the airport, Malaga and 26 minutes drive from a beautiful pueblo Mijas. Fresh lemons and juicy oranges straight from the garden: top notch! Big plus for a gas barberque.If I need to mark anything negative, it would be stairs to the lower level. You just need to watch the small ones but they can use the lower entrance.We would definitely choose this relaxing location one more time if we decide to go to Malaga. Price matches the value.

We loved the property. Loads of space. The pool was great and used alot. It wasnt heated but once you were in the water it was lovely. Games room was great. Home from home with kitchen amenities. Beautiful veranda for the evenings to watch the sunset. Tasty fresh oranges and lemons everyday from the trees in the garden. There are some ants about!Remote location and very private. Felt very safe there. A rental car is a must to get around. 35 mins to Torremolinos which is great for shopping, dining and lively atmosphere. Perhaps some up to date info about the town itself of Alhaurin el Grande. We only discovered the main area towards the end of our holiday. We would have definitely spent more time there if we had known it from the beginning. Would be useful to have google map links to places of interest.Our host Jo & caretaker Faye were very responsive to any queries we had. Its a beautiful Villa and we loved our stay there.

Lovely villa - very well equipped and comfortable. Peaceful location with beautiful views towards the mountains. Great pool, big table outside, shady areas and useful games room. Only a short drive to the town which has a good choice of bars and restaurants.

The villa is very spacious and equipped with everything you need. Very good communication with the host and when we had a problem with the aircon she fixed it straight away. We had an amazing time and I do recommend it.

The Villa was perfect from the welcome to the prompt response to any questions we had. The Villa was very well stocked with everything we would possibly need. The layout was great. The games room took us all back to our youth. The location so close to the village was really useful. Would recommend to anyone. Host and Villa exceeded our expectations. Thank you.

We stayed for 10 days in July 2023. It was really hot so the large pool, games room and undercover areas were a real treat. It is too far to walk to any shops or restaurants so a car is needed. We found it close enough to other beautiful towns such as Mijas. There are some really nice golf courses within 20mins drive. The town itself has some lovely restaurants- our favourite being Santiago’s. The Villa itself was actually bigger than the pictures show and for a family of 5 there was plenty of space. The air con in most rooms could do with a service as did not work brilliantly but have us relief from the hit nights.
