Large Three Bedroom Villa in the Heart of Palmetto Dunes!

Great property for the 5 guys on a golf trip.

The unit was as clean as I expected it to be. The outside grounds could use a little TLC before renters arrive, but other than that it was exactly what I expected. None of the clocks worked and the coffee machine constantly leaked from the bottom. Someone left out a box of roach killer which was not in good taste. Our last day there, we met a rather large palmetto bug (which looks like a huge roach) in our shower which grossed us out, but we were warned ahead if time, this was to be expected. Cable, internet all were great.

Love Hickory Cove, close enough to the beach to walk and the pool was great. The kitchen was equipped with anything you need to cook. We ran out of gas for the grill in the middle of cooking and maintenance swapped out our tank very quickly. The only complaint I would have is the humidity upstairs. One of the bedrooms constantly was damp (our clothes and bedding). And the tubs very slippery.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed in one of the rentals in Hickory Cove. The overall location of Hickory Cove in Palmetto Dunes can't be beat. Great access to the beach. The only negative of the stay was there was often a sulfur egg smell after using the water and one of the downstairs bathrooms. We were told that it was due to possibly the hot water tank not being used for awhile. That was the only thing that was a little concerning, and it did take a few phone calls to have someone look at the issue. Other than that, I would definitely look into staying at a Palmetto Dunes Oceanfront resort property again!

The furniture in the living room was not as advertised in the pictures. You need another sofa, coffee table, and another comfortable large chair. The window treatments in the bedrooms did not cover the glass completely. We felt exposed. The floors needed cleaning. The parking was great.
