Lagoon Views, Dog Friendly & Beautifully Renovated - Perfect for a Couple's Beach Getaway!

Lazy lagoon was perfect for us on our first visit to the area. We loved the location and the easy walk to the beach. It's bright and sunny and stylishly renovated with high end details. It was too cold for us to sit out, but the screened in balcony is a plus. The bed and couch were super comfortable and the linens, pillows, and towels were all designer quality. Five stars all the way, loved it!

We are grateful to the host who allowed us to extend for a total of 3 weeks while the closing on our new build in Charleston was pushed back. While it was the off season, I imagine this place would be IDEAL in the summer. A short walk from the beach, and perfectly located in Turtle Point area, we were a short drive to the Ocean Course, quick walk to The Nest, and just a quick trip to Freshfields. The villa is tastefully updated and I would recommend the Lazy Lagoon and the host a thousand times over.

This brand new looking one-bedroom villa is centrally located in Kiawah -- near tennis, near the beach, near golf. We were very comfortable in the king size bed with great linens and towels. Efficient and well-appointed bathroom. Excellent kitchen with every utensil you might need. Comfortable living, dining areas with a lovely screened in porch overlooking a lagoon. We appreciated that all controls for tvs, wifi, hvac, etc. had instructions posted right next to them so you could clearly learn how to use everything immediately. Staying in this condo, we enjoyed the whole Kiawah Island vibe -- you can walk on bridges over ponds shaded by oak and palmetto trees, draped in Spanish moss, as if you are in a nature preserve.

We had a great stay in October with our dog. The condo is well furnished and was very clean. Steven was very responsive and professional. Enjoyed watching the gators in the pond with a coffee in the morning and a cocktail in the afternoon. Saw deer almost every day. Our dog had a great time running on the beach - after Oct. 16 is dog off-leash all the time on the beach. Will be back next year. Thanks for a great stay!

We enjoyed our trip to Kiawah! Had a few hiccups with the TV one night, but had help immediately that fixed it! Also, the hot water was only lukewarm in the shower, but the regulator needs adjusting, so hopefully that will get fixed after we leave. All in all, it was a wonderful stay and we will be back!

We are so very happy with Lazy Lagoon! The condo was spotless and comfortable. It has everything needed for a comfortable stay. The location is perfect with a beautiful short walk to the beach. We highly recommend this place for your stay in Kiawah Island!

This was a perfect family getaway. We loved the updated space and the cozy, comfy bed. The kitchen and living room provided everything we needed for our trip. Our son loved looking out the windows and sitting on the porch, looking for alligators in the pond. The location was perfect. We rented bikes and biked to the beach every day, but could also walk with our dog in the evening. Communication was awesome. Would love to stay again.

I loved staying at Lazy Lagoon! The condo was beautiful and well kept, which made for a very peaceful stay. I enjoyed sitting in the screened-in porch, and the walk to the beach from there was nice with the Spanish moss trees. I even saw a group of deer on my walk back from the beach! This is a great place to stay and relax in. I give it 5 out of 5 stars!

My daughter and I spent the weekend at Lazy Lagoon and it was the most wonderful place! So dreamy!! Beautifully decorated with the comfiest bed. We especially loved the screened-in back porch overlooking the lagoon. We spent the afternoon relaxing there and even saw a stunning white crane fly over the water! We also loved walking on the Spanish moss covered trails to get to the beach. A short ten minute stroll! Such a sweet place to make sweet memories! Thank you so much!

We had such an amazing stay at Lazy Lagoon! The cozy space gave us a homey welcome while staying in paradise. It was a close distance to the island’s amenities and beach access. I would recommend this place to anyone!

My favorite part of the villa has to be the views! When you walk in you can see the beautiful lagoon from all the windows. The second floor location is a must. While sitting on the couch or dining room table all you can see is water. My favorite part of my stay was sitting on the screened in balcony and watching the wildlife in the lagoon. It is a perfect place to spend a rainy day. The location is wonderful as well. Great for golfing and a quick walk to the beach and the Sanctuary for morning coffee or evening drinks. We will definitely stay at the Lazy Lagoon again and again!

We had the most wonderful and relaxing stay at The Lazy Lagoon. It is obvious that the Villa had been renovated recently as it is beautiful. The kitchen is absolutely gorgeous with high end furnishings and appliances. We loved the giant island with seating for 4 in addition to the 4 in the dining room that was great when friends stopped by. The bedroom was perfect and we slept well in the comfortable king sized bed. The bathroom was pristine and I loved the brand tiled new shower.

I went to this place to have a wonderful restorative experience. When I walked through the door, it was the most glorious moment of seeing the serenity and beauty that the owners had created. The quartz top island was so beautiful and the place was appointed with great furniture and super clean appliances! I will be coming back to this place again and again!! So grateful to have stayed here! Just a short hike to the beach and so peaceful and serene!!
