Luana Garden Villas is the final phase of Honua Kai Resort & Spa, located on the stunning Kaanapali Beach on Maui’s western shores, and steps from everything west Maui has to offer.

This luxurious villa is located within the 38 family-friendly acres of the Honua Kai Resort & Spa, designed with relaxation and memory-making in mind, offering guests an unmatched resort experience while proving residential living at its finest. This villa boasts over 2000 sq.ft. of contemporary interior living space with expansive western windows that open up to a wide lanai, providing your family with plenty of room to enjoy the Maui lifestyle.

Spend your days at your enclave’s private pool and hot-tub located amongst the luxurious Hawaiian gardens or take a very short stroll to the world famous Kaanapali beach, or aquatic playgrounds of the Honua Kai resort.  Experience world class dining, shopping and golf within minutes leaving your villa by visiting Whaler’s village and the Kaanapali and Kapalua golf courses. 

This top floor villa will provide you with the privacy to relax in your lanai while enjoying the views of your garden enclave. The residence is fully furnished with everything you need for a luxurious Maui vacation and a gourmet kitchen to prepare your favorite family meals.  The Lanai is equipped with an outdoor kitchen and BBQ and plenty of lounging and dining space for the entire family. The residence also includes a private garage and an ensuite full size washer and dryer.

Resort amenities include a network of swimming pools, waterfalls and children’s shallow pool, 24 hour fitness facility, Duke’s beach house restaurant, and Whaler’s general store and Spa. Please note due to the recent Covid-19 pandemic, resort amenities may be subject to change or closure.

TAX
The State of Hawaii mandates a total tax of 17.962%. Excise tax is 4.172% and Transient Tax is 13.25% to be paid on all transient accommodations. Taxes are identified on the reservation confirmation (Subject to change). (The higher rate of 17.962% applies to all departures starting 1/1/2024 regardless of when the property was booked.

Taxes are paid to the state of Hawaii and County of Maui based on the guest’s dates of stay. Any changes to the current tax rate will be charged or refunded to the guests depending on the increase or decrease.

OCCUPANCY:
Additional Guests of any age (infants and toddlers included) are strictly prohibited without prior approval. If approved, a fee of $100+tax per day will be added to the reservation for each additional guest.

We have a collection of beautiful 1, 2 and 3 bedroom condos in the Hokulani and Konea towers along with several gorgeous Luana Garden villas within the Honua Kai resort.

Resort has a NO PET policy.

CANCELLATION:
Cancellation outside a 60-day period prior to arrival is subject to a 10% (of total) cancellation fee. Any cancellations made within the 60-day period may result in forfeiture of all monies paid. Please review the listing Terms and Conditions for more information. We highly recommend that all guests purchase a travel insurance policy. Cancelation policy is strictly enforced. All credit cards fees will be deducted before a refund is issued.

**The second master and guest bedroom Central ACs are not working and we have installed a portable AC for our guest's comfort. The rest of the villa's central AC is working fine. The replacement AC will be
installed as the new AC is delivered. Our rates have been reduced due to the inconvenience***

    when deciding on where to stay on Maui we chose Kaanapali area due to it being a bit more quiet, more snorkeling options and we loved the property. It does take about 55 minutes to Wailea and airport, and about 2 1/2 hours to the very opposite side of the island one way but we didnt mind the little drives. The property itself is amazing, on top of having a spacious condo with your own little units pool and jacuzzi, if you walk to the beach it has more pools, a lazzy river, beachfront access and the restaurant Dukes was a reasonable price and yummy!! Also across the street from the condo is a grocery store. and directly next to the condo is like 7 food trucks. The condo itself, is clean, spacious and has some card games, a garage full of chairs and beach toys and a well stocked kitchen for cooking. Also it comes with your own parking spot directly a few steps from your condo. Also AC! and on a bonus we did not have a mosquito problem on the condos property. and if the weather says rain by condo, you can just go drive to another beach with some sun, worked great for us! Also the owner had excellent communication! We will be back! Also if you have little ones, a bunch of families stayed in the condos so lots of kids of all ages were in the pool area.

    This was our second time staying at the Honua Kai Luana resort. We love this 3-bedroom floor plan, the huge front lanai, private pool and hot tub, gym, and all the other amenities. The condo was clean and beautiful and check-in/check-out was a breeze. We will definitely be returning!

    This is our second time to this resort and first time at this villa. We had a wonderful stay. The villa was great for our 3 couples. The resort felt so private and we had the pool and hot tub all to our selves at times. Would come again.

    Very spacious and well equipped villas. The best lanai , perfect place to stay for the family. We have rented many villas over the years for vacation, this place was one of the best we have ever experienced. Rent with confidence, property manager is very responsive should you need anything.

    Good location - liked the fact we could walk everywhere (beach, pool, grocery store, food truck, restaurants). Nice layout, and great kitchen meant we could cook a number of meals and not be forced to eat overpriced resort food.

    Fantastic property for large groups or longer stays where a hotel won't work. Everyone had their own room and bathroom. Was ideal for staying in to cook/grill and eating on the deck with the doors open. Property comes with fully loaded kitchen and cleaning supplies - just bring the groceries. Loved it and will definitely come back.

    Very spacious and comfortable units. The villas have access to that private pool, but you can go and use the big resort pool and amenities as well. So you get the best of both worlds. Check in and out was easy and resources are there whenever you need them. We will definitely be coming back

    The property manager was amazing and responded to any questions or needs promptly and was very helpful. The unit is incredibly spacious and the appliances and washrooms are all modern and new. The unit had everything we needed in the kitchen including some cooking oil and salt and pepper. The garage had some sand toys and very useful beach chairs and wagon. The washing machine and dryer were great and much needed. They even had a drying rack and laundry detergent and a step stool. The unit also came equipped with a baby high chair and playpen and the bathing tub that was in the unit wasn’t too high so it made it easy to bath our infant. We had bracelets for house keys and that was so much better than card keys as you could just wear it and not worry about where to put the room card. The rooms all have ceilings fans that were very nice and helpful to keep the air circulating. The view of the private pool from the second floor was great as we could see if it was too busy in there or not. There’s a large grocery store and food truck park within walking distance from the back entrance of the resident and that was very convenient. We would definitely rent this unit again if we were to come back to Maui. The only downside is that you need a car to get to Lahaina and whalers village shopping area. The adjacent facilities at honua kai was too busy and crowded for us so the private pool and hot tub were perfect. We saw many people not following the rules and keeping the lanai doors open without using the screen or using the bbq without closing the doors. It’s a shame because the units are so new and well maintained but people don’t respect it as if it was their own home. The internet speed was fantastic and reliable except in one of the main master bedrooms you couldn’t get wifi if you were lying in bed. We never heard any noises from the unit next door so the sound proofing is pretty good. The only noise you can hear is the occasional car or motorcycle roar in the middle of the night. Also a short 10 min drive to D.T Fleming park which was fantastic for boogie boarding. We loved this unit and would rent from this property management again.
