Stayed Jun 28, 2016We have just spent 4 nights at the Trulli and this was our favourite place we stayed after spending a month in Italy. Stefania was great from the start with contacting us before arrival to meet us and take us to the house as it is in quite a remote location. The trulli is very clean and well decorated. The kitchen is jam packed with utensils and has plenty of basic food stuffs to start you off, also on arrival we received fresh ricotta and foccacia, salami, wine and a few other pieces as a gift from the families farm which was much appreciated. The outdoor area with pool and bbq was perfect for the warm weather we had and is all well maintained. Wifi was great also. Would not hesitate in recommending this great property to anyone. Thanks Stefania

Stayed Jul 2, 2016We were amazed when we arrived at the trullo - it looked just like the fantastic buildings that we'd seen on television and the Home and Away photos didn't lie! We were met by Stefania who took us to the site and she was so helpful and welcoming; the gifts of local produce that were left for us were delicious and very thoughtful. The trullo was very clean and compact and had most of the things that we needed for a very enjoyable week; the change of temperature between (rainy when we left) UK and Puglia was quite stunning for a pair of Brits and the thing that could have made it a bit easier would have been a fan to move the air around and keep us a bit cooler. We rapidly learnt to keep the doors and window shutters closed throughout the day and open all night. The pool was great in the heat and the shaded area was also good - but you still need the suntan cream under it. We stumbled across a great little restaurant (La Mia Terra) on our way to the trullo and visited it a few times - though we are sure that there were many others of the same quality within the local area, but we couldn't sample all of them in one week! We also found a little local shop with friendly and helpful staff who could cope with our pidgin Italian (next to the Eni petrol station in Impalata); they easily met our daily food needs, so that we didn't need to wander too far from the trullo. We did explore the region a bit - trips down to the beach at Capitolo, the market at Alberobello and a trek to Taranto, but we didn't feel the need to go too far away from our little bit of heaven. Mille grazie, Stefania.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We had a VERY nice time in this beautifull Trulli, which was very nicely decorated, nice clean and exactly like we saw on the pictures. You can clearly see that the owners do a lot of effort to keep the house in a good condition. Bed was comfortable, climate in Trulli was good (thick walls), and kitchen equipment was complete. At arrival, the owner waited for us at the exit from the highway which was very welcome to us, because going to the house the first time can be tricky to find it. Also she went to show us the supermarket, so that we could buy our first things. Also during the whole week, she gave good support to us; helping us with restaurants and even once cooking for us a delicious melanzane parmigiana!! Very tastfull! The surrounding area is very beautifull, very quiet, and in the evening you can hear nice sounds from the nature ;-) The Trulli is located quite in the centre of valle d'itria, so that means that most touristic spots are easily and quickly to find within a close distance. Also enough restaurants are nearby the Trulli, between 5-30 minutes driving. Traffic in Puglia is so much more relaxed compared to for example Sicily or more to the North, what a relief!! We can really recommend this beautifull Trulli !!!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We had a fantastic week in this superbly restored Trulli house . It is about 10 km from Monopoli. The house has a small pool and a very nice terrace . In the house there are two bedroom (one for children, one with queensize bed), a dining room with a smal sofabed, kitchen and bathroom. Everything is very nicely decorated and you will find everything you need. Stefania picked us up at the freeway, even it was late at night and led us to the house. There we found wine and delicious specialties from the region for us as a welcome gift. Thank you very much for the nice week at your Trulli House
