House / Villa - Porto Vecchio

Our stay was very nice, the house is wonderful and has everything you need.

We had a terrific time at Cecile's house in Corsica. We were 5 adults and 4 kids under 6 years old. The house served us all well – the pool and deck, 2 outdoor dining areas, comfortable and stylish interiors – everything was wonderful! The hike (~30 mins with kids) to the nearby beach was WELL worth it – the beach is absolutely idyllic and far less crowded than the public beaches. We had a wonderful lunch at Playa Baggia followed by an afternoon on the beach – lunch was reasonably priced, with deck chairs costing somewhere around 30 EUR each. The beach was perfect for little kids – shallow with tiny waves for 50 meters, warm, clear. The adults could confidently relax from beach chairs without worrying about big waves or an undertow. Bonifacio is not to be missed – our girls aged 4-6 did the famous stairs which was a great adventure! We also enjoyed the Monday market in Porto Vecchio, and the carousel. We had chartered a boat ride that was unfortunately canceled due to high winds – be prepared for this outcome. Lastly, we had a wonderful but VERY expensive dinner at Tamarrichu – 950 EUR for the 9 of us with some cocktails, 3 bottles of wine, kids menus, and a birthday cake. Everything was delicious and it was a lovely treat for the last night but the menu is limiting and pricey. Ah – afternoon and evening petanque with a sea view – memories for years! Overall we had a wonderful week in Corsica, thanks to being able to stay at Cecile's lovely house in a perfect area.

We had a great stay in this lovely house situated in a picturesque setting. The house itself is just as described on the website, large and comfortable, well furnished with all necessary equipment. We were a group of eight family members, ranging from 11 to 80 years old, and all had a great time (however, be aware that there are some stairs involved, in case that would pose a challenge to any of the guests). Lovely outdoor areas, including a spectacular pool and just a short distance to beautiful beaches. For those who like walking or jogging, there is a nice little road nearby leading down to the sea with little traffic. We mostly dined at home, but L’Olivier just around the corner towards Portovecchio had a nice menu (with pizza for the kids) and a pleasant terrace. All in all - we were very happy with our stay and would highly recommend it.

We had a really pleasant time with our family. The outdoor kitchen was great, there are different terraces and we had fun playing petanque while enjoying the view. We were a bit suprised by the handhold showers and there is no bath. Other than that, the facilities were just fine. Thank you so much for the nice stay!

Excellent sejour

We were in this wonderful house in June 2019. 4 families - 8 adults 4 children from Munich. The house is perfectly located between Porto Vecchio and the beautiful beaches of Tahiti Beach (within walking distance) and Palombaggia. Especially the proximity to Solenzara and thus the entry into the Corsican Gumpen paradise was great for our kids. Definitely recommendable: A Pulischellu Cayoning Tour! The house is beautifully built in the Corsican country house style, clean, spacious and equipped with everything you need in a two week so. Especially the large grill on the terrace is sensational for barbecue evenings. The care of Hayette was perfect and we felt very comfortable in the house. Thank you Cecile for the hospitality - we will definitely be back!
