holiday villa with private pool and garden

The house was perfectly equipped, the host left us some food, so we had no rush to go to the supermarket. We found everything that we could need, to cook, to rest. Spotlessly clean. Not going to share any pictures, the ones here are ok enough. A cozy house in the middle of the fields.

We had a great Time at the house. It’s quite and comfy. There are a couple of tiny towns around, but you will need a car. The house and the owner are awesome. The house has everything you need.

Villa was lovely, great pool. Kids loved everything! Host was really really helpful and friendly. Very quiet area but a short drive to nice towns and villages for food. Thank you so much!

This is a gorgeous home in a very peaceful and beautiful part of the island. The home owners are extremely welcoming and helpful. Absolutely perfect!!!

The house was immaculately clean and tastefully decorated, complete with air conditioning and all necessary amenities, including a washing machine and tumble dryer. Upon our arrival, Kostas and his wife had thoughtfully stocked the fridge with essentials such as coffee, bread, olives, fruit, honey, biscuits, water, and more. The highlight of the property was the exceptional pool, which was self-cleaning and continually refilling. Not a single bug was in sight, and the water remained crystal clear throughout our stay. The well-maintained grass allowed us to walk barefoot and even play badminton on the front lawn. The local beaches were beautiful and uncrowded, perfect for snorkeling in clear waters. For dining options, numerous local taverns were just a short drive away, offering a wide variety of delicious dishes to satisfy every craving. Overall, our experience was truly exceptional, and we highly recommend this property for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway.

One ideal week in a very beautiful house. Quiet days: swinming pool and very nice garden. À lot of things to do in the aera. Beautiful beaches. À lot of delicious things to eat and drink at our arrivals ! And lovely cats … We would like stay on more week !

Such a joyful place. In the middle of nowhere appears this beautiful house surrounded by a huge garden with green grass, olive trees, many flowers and a big swimming pool. It is excellent and lovingly furnished and well maintained. Everything is perfect equipped! Kostas is a great host - left food for half the week including a bottle of wine and raki! All our questions were answered at once. I highly recommend him! With our rented car we got to all the lovely places which Kostas suggested. A car is a must have! If you are looking for peace and quiet and not touristy areas go to Kostas house!

We had wonderful days in this house. the interior is really lovely. Everything is functional and in a good shape. The pool and the garden are really nice, too. Important remark to whom it may concern, there is nothing much around in this area, you definitely need a car to go to points of interest. There are some small shops around for foot and daily stuff, some taverns, that's it.

Kostas’ Villa in Arvi is on the south coast of Crete and is an extremely short drive (less than 2 minutes) from a small village with what seemed had little to no tourism; you feel immersed in life with the locals. It’s a sleepy village with not much going on. The Villa is an hour and a quarter from Heraklion airport via some very windy roads so not for the faint hearted. The views on the way are spectacular so better to get a flight that lands you during daylight hours. The Villa is at the foot of a mountain and is entirely private, nestled in its own garden with electric gates that make you feel even more private from the odd person passing down the dust track that passes the Villa. We arrived late in the evening and were warmly greeted by Kostas and his wife (and two cats!) who had generously stocked the kitchen with food, water and wine to get us started. The house was spotlessly clean. Our favourite off-the-beaten-track beach was Stuoros Beach just 25 minutes away. The small coastal town of Myrtos was a wonderful more touristy place but still super peaceful. Be prepared to drive a lot to discover places so a hire car is a must. We highly recommend staying here if you are looking to be away from the busy tourist spots. It’s the perfect place to relax, read, swim and recharge.

The place is really beautiful, the decoration so charming, the house was more than very clean and Kostas and Artemis are nice people always ready to help us to spend happy holiday. This was exactly what we expected for our family holiday. We do recommend +++
