Historic Villa With Large Gardens Near the Beach

Our family of 4 loved our stay in beautiful Lumbarda, Korcula. The rental was clean and tastefully decorated with artistic touches throughout. The 3 separate apartments were perfect - the kids loved playing hosts and having their own space. The owner Vedrana was kind and helpful, making the stay even more pleasant. The nearest beach is sandy and located only a 1-minute walk away, with other beaches easily accessible nearby. A well-stocked grocery store and an artisanal bakery are also within walking distance. There are several areas in the lovely garden available for relaxing after a day at the beach. A comfortable and enjoyable place overall!

We were warmly welcomed by Vedrana who was there when needed but unobtrusive. The house is comfortable and provides flexible accommodation, set in a beautiful garden.

We had a wonderful 10 days at Lumbarda..The property was roomy, comfortable and spotless and we particularly enjoyed the garden and the swimming. There is a little beach just below the house and 2 more about 15 minutes walk away, all with cafes. There are two good restaurants just below the house and some excellent ones in Lumbarda. Beware mosquitoes after dusk - there are plenty of Raid plugs though. For the information of future guests, because it wasn't clear from the listing, the downstairs flat has two bedrooms -double and twin - while the two upstairs flats are roomy studios, each with a big double bed. All flats seem to have sofabeds too. The kitchen is adequate but has no oven or dishwasher. Supermarket and bakery about 10 minutes walk away. Lastly almost no shops - except supermarkets - or restaurants take cards. Plenty of ATMs in Lumbarda

We enjoyed our relaxing holiday in Vedranas beautiful house. The house was very clean, we had lot of space inside and outside of the house. Communication with Vedrana was very good before, during and after our stay. All questions were answered directly, she is very friendly and helpful. We and our little dog felt very welcome! The house is in a good location. Shopping and going out for dinner can be done by foot. There are some beaches, you can reach by foot too. If you want to reach lonely beaches or bigger supermarkets, you have to use the car, but distances are not to big. We were on nice hiking trips on the island and found great places to swim, snorkel and relax. Thank you, Vedrana, for being allowed to be your guest, we enjoyed it very much!

We had the whole house for us (2 families with children) and everything was as we expected it to be. The place is quiet, well shaded. Our host was nice. The house sits on the top of the hill overlooking Tatinja Beach and is with a nice view of Sveti Rok church.

Beautiful historic building, cosy and practical. Particularly lovely to have the charming host right next door - so informative and helpful. The private courtyard is a particularly nice feature - catching the morning sun, and then providing shade in the hight of the hot days. The house was the perfect layout for us. The ground floor apartment accommodated two of us - and was practical for a wheelchair user who is able to manage just one or two steps, and the close bathroom was easy to negotiate on two sticks (& grab rail inside the shower would have made it feel even more accessible and secure) . Another part of the family had the upstairs section - with lovely views and their own kitchenettes. This meant we could have good separate and together time for a harmonious two-generation family holiday. A quick nip down the hill for the swimmers in the company gave quick access to a small beach and warm seas. A short walk to the supermarket made provisioning easy. A lovely time was had by us all in this lovely holiday home.

The house is simply wonderful and the garden is a little peace of heaven. Ms. Vedrana is a very special guest and her simple but careful style made easy and nice our relationship from the beginning. We experienced very good time in Korcula enjoying beautiful beaches and landscapes.

Beatuful,clean house with very kind owner. The house have everything what you need. The beautiful garden with several teraces,grill,parking.... The house is 50 m from beach. Location is perfect for children and house is best solution for two families. The centar of vilage (Lumbarda) is 200 m. We will come again !!!
