The apartment is very charming and in a great location. It would be unfair to say the description was inaccurate because it doesn’t say it has a kitchen, however, the pictures clearly show a kitchen sink and cooking hob so by default one would expect a kitchenette.The advert says there is a coffee maker but there were no instructions on how to use the coffee maker and given they talk about cups etc one would expect there to be a kettle. When I discovered there was no kettle, although there was a box for a kettle in one of the cubby holes, I enquired and was told to boil water in a saucepan. I also discovered the hot water tap in the kitchen didn’t work and was told there was no hot water in the kitchen. The irony of this was that, when I received the check out instructions I was told that “the cleaning of dishes and the job is the guests responsibility”. I don’t know how anyone can wash dishes properly without hot water!The house did have a damp smell to it when we walked in and the reason became clear the day after our arrival when I was contacted by the agent and asked if they could access the house in our absence to check a pot under the boiler.
