Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family has been coming to Palmetto dunes for years, and this stay lived up to expectations. It's a lovely community with great amenities, and the condo was perfect for our needs - we loved balcony for watching the sunrise and drinking coffee from the rocking chairs, and the very short walk to the heated pool and the beach. The beds were not the softest I've ever slept on, but overall, a great place to stay!

The condo we stayed in this time is showing its age, peeling wallpaper, broken blind pulls, old appliances but overall, it was great.

Here is a partial list of what we encountered: electric outlets that didnot work throughout the unit, filthy old bath rugs, broken cutting boards, a sink sprayer that did not work,black mold or dirt in master bath shower (needs a THOROUGH scrubbing, peeling wall paper, rust and years of dust on vents, torn old sofa pillows, broken lapmpshades and more. The unit needs to be THOROUGHLY professionally cleaned and updated.

Reviewer Comments: The view of the ocean is as shown in the photos.You can hear the ocean from the 4th floor condo.We rented for 10 days/nights in September. We have stayed at numerous condos throughout HHI and belive the Barrington Court is one of the oldest is at the end of Queens Way so if you are walking or biking to the courts, consider this. I will address the Pros and Cons. Pros: *Property management checkin was excellent. *Great View of ocean *Plenty of towels *Bathrooms plenty of room and updated showers *A/C works great and keeps the condo cool * Plenty of clothes hangersCons: * Refrigerator needs the condenser replaced as it squeals constantly. * Sliding glass door tracks in living room need to be throughly cleaned as they are so dirty and black mold that you can not hardly open them. My husband is strong and could hardly get it opened. * Electric stove top hot burner light never goes off. * Master bath toilet needs a new valve float and it runs and ghosts constantly. We had to lift the lid every time after flushing to get it to stop. * Skillets need to be replaced. Teflon as come off and everything sticks with using a electric stove. * Furniture, decor, and kitchen cookware and dishes look to be from the 80's-90's and either bought at a used furniture store or items owners dont want. *King bed is uncomfortable and a metal bed frame. They put a mattress topper on a cheap mattress, that does not help it and needs replaced. Pillows not good either. No couch throws but king blankets in closet are smelly. * Wall paper is peeling off the wall. * Condo needs to be thoroughly cleaned as it is pretty dusty.

Bathrooms were OK but Master shower had no grab bars. TV was hard to connect to. Instructions would have been nice. Had to call service for closet door and TV. would not return. Only a 2 0n a scale of 0=10

Upon arrival to play golf we found out that our tee times were scheduled for the week prior to our arrival. Needless to say it was very difficult for us to reschedule due to it being prime season. Hours during our stay were wasted. 3/5 stars
