About Beachcomber
The beautiful Beachcomber villa was built by an English gentleman. His initial plans for the large villa included fully separate wings for him and his wife, as well as medium common areas for family and friends. The villa was inhabited for several years before being sold and transformed into a leisure club in Lagos. This expat paradise had a reputation for both its parties and its customers, partying until the early hours. Even today, many taxi drivers around Lagos stillknow the Beachcomber Beachcomber. So you will have no problem going home after a night in town! The bowling green was added at that time and the swimming pool enlarged before the country club was out of fashion and was converted into a private residence. The original plan of the villa meant that it naturally converted into five current apartments. The cottage is at the back and most private, with a kitchen that clearly shows its history as a country club bar. The Pool and Garden apartments are the two main wings of the villa. The largest apartment with jacuzzi joining the two in the center of the house and the apartment with upstairs balcony offering sea views. Regardless of its colorful history, Beachcomber was primarily a family home and you will immediately be relaxed in the calm, peaceful and secluded surroundings of the villa grounds. Whether you are looking for a base in the heart of the Algarve or just a break from the European climate, Beachcomber welcomes you and looks forward to your next vacation in Portugal

Located on a hill in Albadeira, a quiet and upscale residential area located above the Bensafrim River, in the historic town of Lagos, in the western Algarve, in the south of Portugal, Casa Beachcomber is the ideal destination for those looking for a secluded and quality holiday.
Located just over 1.5 km from downtown Lagos and around 80 km from Faro International Airport, Casa Beachcomber is a traditional Algarve private residence set in one hectare of beautiful gardens and offering a sea view. The capital of Portugal, Lisbon, as well as the wonderful city of Seville in Spain, are both less than 2 hours and 45 minutes away by car.

Formerly an exclusive country club, the establishment offers a large swimming pool adjacent to a shallow paddling pool, equipped with a jacuzzi hot tub and a terrace for sunbathing. Casa Beachcomber has been divided into six apartments that retain their traditional character, including original tiled floors, high ceilings and whitewashed walls.
The entire villa can be rented exclusively or as individual qu'appartements. Each apartment has its own style and all are equipped with WiFi and satellite TV.
Casa Beachcomber is a perfect destination for those seeking a holiday in a rural area but close to all amenities. It is also ideal for groups of families and friends who can accommodate 18 to 20 adults and children in all of the apartments.

Location
The Lagos Marina with restaurants and bars, the historic city center of Lagos and the famous Meia Praia Beach, with more than 4 km of golden sand, are all within walking distance.

Excursions, boat trips, dolphin watching excursions and visits to amusement parks can be booked at Lagos Marina or at one of the stands and shops on the main avenue. The marina itself offers a magnificent setting, with restaurants, cafes and bars and with the magnificent backdrop of sailing boats.

Casa Beachcomber is also an ideal place to explore the magnificent rugged coastline of the Western Algarve, including Sagres and Cape St. Vincent, the most south-western tip of Europe, as well as the magnificent surroundings of the chain of Monchique mountains dominating the region.

    Lovely peaceful apartment, short drive from Lagos. Hosts very helpful and the gardens are beautiful. Kitchen is well equipped and pool is cleaned daily
