Property had everything we required were big foodies and it offered a fantastic well equipped kitchen. The children enjoyed the pool area too deep enough for diving but well proportioned for general swimming

Absolutely beautiful property in a sumptuous location. We had an amazing time in this gorgeous part of the world. The property is elegantly and comfortably decorated and impeccably clean and well-equipped. The situation of the pool is unbeatable with outstanding views over the abundant fruit trees and surrounding land as well as to Ostuni in the distance. We had the super-talented chef Flora come to cook for us twice during our stay and her four course meals were incredible - everything made fresh and mostly entirely from scratch! Communications with Elizabeth were outstanding and she and Ian provided loads of helpful information before and during our stay and promptly and pleasantly answered all our (many!) questions. Would highly recommend La Vigna for a family holiday.

We enjoyed our stay and the owner and on site manager were very hands on, helpful and nice. However the following should be noted:- * There was an insufficient supply of hot water, for both showering and bathing. * The showers are not power showers, so no real force behind the water jets. * The showers do not have thermostats, so difficult to control the hot and cold and obtain an even temperature. * There are no outside comfortable seating areas. Whilst there is an adequate number of chairs and tables, there are no couches, or hammocks, for an afternoon siesta. * There is no TV. The villa was not advertised as having a tv, however, families with children, should be made aware, as the point could be easily missed, on the website. * The villa does not really work for more than two couples, if privacy is required, as only one bedroom has an ensuite.

We had the most amazing stay at La Vigna. Everything was just perfect. We felt we were living in a small paradise. The house is one of the most beautiful houses we have ever seen. Interior design was providing such a sensual pleasure following the traditional style of the Itria Valley. We all deeply enjoyed the beauty – sophisticated choices and the quality materials of the interior. The kitchen was spacious and charming, very well equipped with quality appliances, marble countertops and lovely tiles. We cooked many meals there, eating lunch inside hiding from the heat and dinners outside on the patio. One day we had a cook arranged for us by Elizabeth - and we enjoyed a delicious dinner prepared by lovely Flora. With Flora I also learned how to make a lemon-ricotta pie. Bedrooms felt cool enough even though there was quite a heat period during our stay. We appreciated good beds and the quality material bed linens. Bathrooms were spacious and beautiful, with good towels. And, everything was very clean and fresh. The gorgeous house was surrounded by an amazing scent of rosemary and lavender, and an orchard filled with trees of figs, apricots, cherries, pomegrantes, apples, pears, almonds, mulberries. What a luxury to have fresh fruit from the garden. I loved walking in the garden early in the morning, enjoying the sounds and scents of nature. I carry with me the scent of figs, lavender and rosemary. And, oh my, the pool! A great one with a proper length and beautiful layout, surrounded by fig and cherry trees and a huge pine tree. A perfection. Also, the location was perfect for taking small day trips. We visited e.g. Locorotondo, and went swimming in the sea in Torre Guaceto, and had a fantastic lunch at Cibus at Ceglie Messapica. And what made our stay even more special was the warmth of our hosts - Elizabeth and Ian. We were taken care of in such a wonderful way, from the first contact on. The communication was prompt and extremely kind. Thank you so much, Elizabeth and Ian. You have a very special place, and your caring and love for the place can truly be felt, in communication and at the estate. Also we want to send our warm gratitude to Isa, the housekeeper. We can highly recommend this little paradise to anyone who appreciates beautiful house and surroundings, sophisticated yet cosy interior, a great pool, and accommodating and warm hosts. We wish to return to this magical place, maybe next in the time of pomegranates. Grazie Mille!

We had a great time at La Vigna and communicating with Elizabeth was a breeze! The house was one of the cleanest property I have been in...and we also got the cleaning team coming once a week. The pictures and description are quite accurate..I would just say add that the AC is not available in all the bedrooms and the entrance doors require maintenance. Lastly, the property would benefit from having more umbrellas by the pool and by the outdoor eating area. Also, more lights by the entrance gate and by the pool would have come handy. Overall a nice property to vacation for sure! Thank you Elizabeth!

This is a wonderful place, oozing character and style and in a spectacular location looking out towards Ostuni. The pool is spectacular - long enough for proper lengths and with far reaching views. Wonderfully equipped kitchen for cooking in but a lovely pizzeria in the village for eating out. Fresh, ripe figs dripping off the trees, juicy grapes on the vine, apricots and pomegranates what more could you ask for???

From the first moment the contact with Elisabeth was perfect, she is very kind and organised, that's what you need in Italy.  She answers to e-mails very quick and everything we asked for was taken care off, and very important: the house was very clean! When we arrived we felt immediatly in love with the house. You can't imagine how big the house and the garden are, also the terraces all around the house are much bigger and much more beautifull then the pictures showed on the website. The housekeeper Isa is the best... the day of our arrival we found fresh fruit from the garden on the kitchen table, cheese and wine in the fridge and coffee and milk so we didnt have to rush to the supermarket, it made us feel so welcome.  We were with seven adults and three children but the house was really big enough, kitchen and livingroom very spacious. The kitchen is really good organised, it is very easy to cook for a big family, very well equiped.  Behind the livingroom with two comfortable couches, is a long corridor with four beautifull bedrooms, all with a lot of privacy and their own terrace and three big badrooms. The interiors of the house are amazing...! The colours, the walls, the styling... it is a perfect combination of modern and typical afchitecture of Puglia. The garden is so good taken care off, there are beautifull plants, trees and even a wineyard and a trully, it is wonderfull to walk around. The swimmingpool is a real dream, very big and clean, enough sunbeds with a beautifull view on the valley and the city of Ostuni. There is a little pizzeria near the house and also a little supermarket nearby. The location is perfect, in the beautifull Valle d'Itria and very near to Ostuni,  Cisternino and Locorotondo which are very nice towns to visit and also not to far away from the beach. Offcourse you need a car to go to places but hat is normal in Puglia. If you want a perfect house with a perfect host  you found it!!!!

We had a wonderful and relaxing 2 week holiday at this charming villa. The house is so lovely to return to after trips to the beautiful hill top towns. We visited the local markets and beaches and one of our favourite restaurants was the local pizzeria - not to be missed! The house is rustic and stylish set amongst orchards of vines, olive, fig and pomegranate trees and the pool is one of the most relaxing spots, boasting fabulous views across the countryside and on most days a welcome breeze. We didn't want to leave and wished we had booked for 3 weeks. Thank you Elizabeth, Ian and Isa.

The three generations of our family really enjoyed our stay. A perfect base for exploring local towns and beaches. Very tastefully decorated with a lovely pool , gardens and linens. We were looking for a high quality base for a relaxed holiday with a baby and grandparents and we weren’t disappointed. Elizabeth was very helpful, the lady representative doesn't have brilliant English but that wasn’t a problem. A list of supermarkets and local attractions / restaurants at the villa would be a helpful addition.
