EV_1521 - 8 Bed 5 Bath with Screened Private Pool with Spillover Spa, Theater

We rented this house in Mar 2020 when it was less than year old. It advertised and had 4 king beds within it 8 bedrooms. The house was beautifully appointed and clean. Fast forward Dec 2022. This house has fallen in complete disrepair. The 4 king bedrooms that they continue to advertise on their website, despite other reviews advising only 2 continues to misrepresent the home. Many photos of the home are not what you get. For example the sectional outdoor patio furniture is only a piece of the sectional - 3 ppl could sit very close together. The photo of the kitchen island with 4 barstools has only two. There were 3 when we arrived and my husband noticed it was angled to the left - he went to check on it and it came off at the base - housekeeping leaned it up against the wall!!! I have 5 grandchildren, all of whom could have climbed onto this broken chair only to fall on their heads on the ceramic floor. They upstairs childrens area shows 3 little leather chairs with ottomans - there were only 2 and one was broken. The air hockey table is in need of repair. The first day we arrived we noticed the main floor a/c was not working. Credit the the management company for sending someone right over to fix it. The hot tub never warmed up - despite sending a repairman it still did not warm up - pool was very warm. Kids loved it. The internet cut out for two days. I should mention the owner pays for the CHEAPEST LOWEST internet package you can buy and you will notice it cuts out all the time. This house has 5 bathrooms. We could not find one single face cloth in the entire home...not one! The kitchen is poorly equipped. This home is set up for families and children - there was not a single plastic bowl, cup or plate in the entire home. So glass plates, bowls and glasses for 2-5 years olds on ceramic floors or patio stone. We went to prepare dinner our first night which included a tossed salad and caesar salad - they had one bowl in the entire house!! The ice maker on the fridge does not dispense ice. When you are asking families to pay anywhere from $3500 - $8000 per week depending on time of year, is it too much to expect a highchair, crib or bbq grill...we had to rent all those items - seriously? Believe me when i tell you that there are several homes in this neighborhood which are much better equipped and come with these items. The owner of this house should replace/repair things if they expect to keep renting. Renter beware

Had a great time in a cracking property in a great location

We haven’t traveled I. Two years because of Covid so we were worried about traveling. The villa was clean and everything you would need was available. This home was close to everything.. and we had more than enough room for the family.

I contacted manager prior to our stay to inquire about the poor Feb21 review because I did not want that to be my experience. He assured me that everything was addressed. He lied. The place is falling apart. It’s a great house, just VERY poorly maintained. Multiple door knobs were falling off, holes in doors, door handle to sliding door was completely broken. All the dining room chairs are wobbly, one of the beds were broken (we actually fixed it). The upstairs AC was frozen and leaking all over the carpet. We couldn’t use it for 3 days and had to call every day and finally on the 3rd day after I sent pictures of the frozen pipes outside they sent someone to fix it. The carpet was wet for the duration of our stay. They don’t want to hear your complaints, they literally do not care. Check in was terrible, we had no idea how to get in the gate, they only sent the house code. You have to go across the street to the guard shack and get your pass. Also, they didn’t tell us every driver needed to be listed on the reservation or they wouldn’t issue a pass. The communication was terrible. The neighborhood is a party neighborhood! It looks like some houses were rented specifically for house parties.

Great house for golf vacation.

This was our 2nd time renting this same house. Last year it was only 6 months old and everything was great. This year however it was filthy and tons of broken things and items missing around the house. First 5 minutes there the door handle broke off the freezer, door handle broke off the patio door, the pool fence was broken, the dryer door was broken and wouldn't shut and it was so disgusting we had to clean it ourselves. Our kids found tampons and used diapers in the rooms. The cleaning company literally didn't clean a thing. No floors were swept or vacuumed and every surface had crumbs. Fridge had food spilled inside all over. Comforters were all stained and dirty. This year there was no pool towels, hardly any regular towels in each bathroom, stains on the bed sheets, all pillows on beds and couch had holes or stains on them or were yellow and dirty. The kitchen was missing utensils that were there last year. No pot holders or kitchen towels this year. It was just a huge disappointment. There is zero upkeep on the house. The kitchen table chairs are all missing the bottom so they have scraped and damaged the tile. The outdoor table is wobbly and unstable. The outdoor couch is broken and sunk in and the cushions and pillow are all stained and gross now. Even the mat at the front door is frayed and belongs in the garbage. They clearly never replace a single thing. One bedroom didn't even have a fitted sheet on it. The Mickey and Minnie mouse dolls on the beds are all stained and gross now. There is a faux fur chair in one of the rooms covered in something brown. The floors weren't mopped and even even bathroom had mildew around the drains as if it's never been cleaned and pee and hair around the base of the toilet. We called right away and got the run around. Said they would send out maintenance to fix the door handles and the pool fence and they did. They also sent a cleaning lady at 7pm but by then we had already cleaned up most of the filth so we could unpack. It's such a nice house but it's gross when everything is dirty and stained. Its sad how bad and run down it got in just a year. Everyone was grossed out and annoyed we had to stay in a house this gross for 11 days. They wouldn't move us to a clean house where nothing was broken either. We felt stuck and disappointed we paid so much money and had to spend the first day of our vacation cleaning someone else's filth.

This property was nice but needed some work. Internet kept going off. A few things were broken but we just dealt with it. This house only has 2 kings not 4 as we were told. There are only 2 ensuites and we were under the impression there were 3.

Everything was great and we enjoyed our time there very much. The only thing we'd comment about is that the pillows on the beds were quite thin.
