Our host was amazing - she went out of her way to share how to make our family gathering even better. We took a trip to nearby Mantova at her suggestion - the museum there is amazing.

Excellent hosts! The home was spacious for our family of 6 adults. The kitchen had the utensils and dishes we needed. We were always happy to relax there at the end of the day. Although we enjoyed the adventure of taking the bus (the stop is nearby), for winter stays, I would rent a car.

After a bad experience at a hotel in another town, we did some last minute searching for a rental property near or in Verona. We hoped we could find something halfway decent, being that we wanted to cancel our existing 2-night stay that we had reserved a year ago, but it was literally for the very next day, so our hopes were limited. WOW, were we pleasantly surprised. Nicoletta was a joy of a host, and made sure we had all the comforts we could possibly want or need. The house itself was too good to be true for being available at the last minute. Gorgeous house and immaculate yard, with beautiful, fragrant plants in the large gardens, and the ART! My oh my, there is so much art in and out of the house. I believe Nicoletta and perhaps her husband made a lot of it themselves, which added a very personal touch to the home. This is a very special place, and I highly recommend anyone staying in this area with a car to reserve this now!

We were a group of 4 couples and stayed with Nicoletta for 4 nights. Our experience was amazing. Nicoletta is an artist, so the home and property have beautiful and unique sculptures everywhere. The bedrooms and bathrooms easily accommodated our group. Nicoletta was extremely helpful with advice and assistance in many ways including taxis, restaurants, and special services such as arranging a jewelry making experience for my wife. We did the thermal baths in Sirmione, the Pra winery in Soave and a guided tour in beautiful Verona. All exceptional! A in every way. Go; you will not be disappointed!!!

We had a lovely stay here, the location of the villa is great, its set in the hills so all you can see from the property is green, yet only a 5 min drive into Verona and a 2 min walk to the closest restaurant. We stayed here with my parents and 2 young children (1 and 3) and there was plenty to entertain the kids, a covered play room behind the villa and access to a slide and swings too. The villa is well stocked with everything you need and there is a lovely outside seating area to enjoy meals and evenings together. The only reason I’ve brought it down to 4* is that there are a couple of bits around the property that are in need of some TLC. Overall though we had a great time and our host was brilliant, couldn’t have been more helpful.

The home is a beautiful, spacious, fully working property with friendly and interesting hosts who were very helpful with anything we needed. The location is secluded on a hill for beautiful views of the city, so you probably do need a car, but it is located only minutes from stores and sites to see. The home is so pretty that you should talk to your kids about being careful with all the artwork and decorations. Highly recommended to other guests, and thank you for having us!

The villa was more beautiful than the photos. It was a wonderful experience to stay there with the creative artistic decor. Thanks Nico for hosting our family.

Great stay

We had a wonderful week staying in a lovely house in the hills above the beautiful city of Verona. Nicoletta was very helpful indeed, and most generous with her time and recommendations. The house and grounds are large and filled with fascinating features, books and objects. Thoroughly recommended!
