**TOURIST TAX**
We are required to charge a Municipal Tourist Tax on behalf of Loulé council, on bookings placed as from November 1st, 2024, as published in Diário da República 2nd Serie, no. 140, of July 22nd, 2024.
This tax is calculated up to a maximum of 5 consecutive nights, per person aged 16 or over, and will cost as follows:
- Low Season (from November 1st to March 31st) – 1Eur per person/per night
- High Season (from April 1st to October 31st) – 2Eur per person/per night
The payment of this tax is due in cash upon check-in, or in advance by bank transfer.

House rules and suitability:
- Groups of youngsters and/or made up exclusively of individuals of the same gender may be considered and only upon request. Strongly recommend contacting us before booking, as we reserve the right to decline and cancel this sort of booking without a refund.
- Events and parties are not allowed.
- Pets not allowed.

    Lovely pool. It was 2.30m in deep end and 1m in the shallow. Lovely area. BBQ nice but lacking racks. Inside need a little tlc but it was serviceable. (Door handles loose) It was a walk to the beach area, not overly far but on a main road. Overall we had a lovely stay. The cleaning lady was lovely.

    Lovely small villa in quiet location. Good size pool and gardens. Local to several golf courses and with two good cafes on site serving all day. Car advisable if you want the beaches and Vilamoura marina otherwise plenty of taxis available.

    So many ants and bugs even tho we tried killing them Mattresses need renewing Many electric socket plugs loose No plug for kitchen sink Gardeners came in on Saturday Morning while we were there and 2 of us were still in bed. Very Noisy equipment was being used

    The villa was very clean and tidy inside and out, there is everything you need to have a relaxing stay. The pool was clean and excellent to swim in or to just sit and paddle. The area around the villa has some excellent restaurants, bars and the golf course just up the road. We would definitely stay again.

    Some issues upon arrival that we contacted the agent to resolve: - Main shower door doesn’t close and therefore water leaking : Proposal was that the shower needed to be replaced and will be done at the end of the season, we used a piece of elastic to close the doors whilst using, still not perfect but restricted amount of water leaking. - Electrics exposed in kitchen and children's bedroom. issues resolved promptly. - Cleaning wasn’t carried out on week one, towels and sheets not changed, contacted agent and cleaned on day 11 (of 14) towels changed but bedding not changed, bedding wasn’t changed for the duration of holiday. - Somebody was calling in daily to tidy up around the pool area (it didn’t need tidying), upon enquiry it turns out it is the owner, she lives in a property overlooking the Villa…. I found this a little odd that she would enter once we’d leave it felt like she was watching us from her balcony and when we left she’d call into the garden area!! Overall this Vila is located in a lovely quiet area, it needs a little bit of work to bring up to a standard to meet my expectations and the price being paid… I think the owner needs to leave the occupants to move the sun beds around where they see fit and also leave out any personal items around the pool.

    Apart from a few snags that would have been easily fixed, we enjoyed our stay at the villa. Double bed was very firm which did not really suit us, but that can be subjective. Would stay here again once snags were sorted.

    Excellent 2Bed Villa. Great pool. Villa is very Private. Very clean. In first class condition. I would recommend villa Marinel to anyone wishing a great relaxing holiday. Paulo is a gem. So if you need anything at all he will be a great help to you.

    This is our second visit to this super villa which is perfect due to its location, private outdoor area and pool, lovely decor and cleanliness. We couldn’t ask for more. Communication with the managing agents was again fantastic and we love it that much we’ve already booked for next year.
