Cortijo La Viña

Great house for two or a small family, swimming pool is deep everywhere, fabulous views, the long road in off the main road is very rough and quite dangerous, it is two way but is only wide enough for one car, drive very slowly . At times you need to reverse when meeting another car. House is a ten, road a one. All facilities very good. Frigiliana is close across the valley but a ten minute drive in, parking there is quite difficult. Try not to park under the pine tree at the house, can be very dirty.

The views can’t be beaten! The house was the best place for us to relax and re-energise while travelling around Europe. The house had everything we needed.

A lovely villa in a beautiful location with stunning views of the mountains and the village of Frigiliana. Very peaceful, quiet surroundings. Nice touch from the owner to leave some drinks and some food for arrival. The way to the villa is via a mountain track that does that some skill driving but you get used to it after a few days! All in all, a great stay and highly recommended.

Wow. Ralph was a fantastic host, always responsive if we had questions, and the villa is impressive enough before you even take in the incredible views. One minor note to drivers; take your time on the downhill sections of the lane heading towards the villa as there is one section of disguised bumps that might damage a small car if driven over too quickly.

We have stayed a week in this super lovely house. It has a perfect location with the most beautiful views of Frigiliana and the Mediterranean. The pool area is really nice with a nice and clean pool. The house is well furnished with all the things that you need. It was really clean and tidy when we arrived. We were very surprised when we opened the fridge. There was some cheese, sausage, water and beer, as well as a packet of bread on the table. Wonderful reception. Later in the evening, the contact person Martin came by to hear if everything was okay. Very pleasant welcome. All dialogue with Ralph up, during and after the stay has worked really well and we can only highly recommend this place if you want to visit Frigiliana. We would love to come again.

Das Cortijo ist wunderschön und super ausgestattet. Man hat einen traumhaften Ausblick und es ist super gelegen, dann man kann von hier aus die Costa del Sol super erkunden.

We had to cancel due to covid19 but Ralph was amazing at staying in touch and making sure we were taken care of. I have no doubt that if our trip had necessitated, that they would have accommodated us so that we weren't alone. Thanks for being in touch and your kindness!
