Close to the River - 4 Bedroom, 3 Bathroom, Pool, close to the River

This house needs a lot of things. We stay at VRBO properties at least twice a year. I would suggest a GOOD cleaning and replacing things. You need a new dishwasher and new dryer. Useful everyday items needed are: more kitchen spoons (only 3 in the drawer), can opener ( broken), cookie sheets, more blankets and pillows. The pool felt dirty, like it needed cleaning there was some white stuff stuck to the bottom? Hot tub did not remain hot. All in all we were disappointed. The pictures online fooled us. The house needs updated and cleaned (behind the bed, dressers, dryer it is a mess.

The home was great!

We loved the layout and location of this lovely house and its quick access to open water from its canal. The boat ramp is nearby and we were able to launch our boat once and keep it in the water at the dock at the property for our entire stay. There is plenty of room to park a couple of vehicles and a boat trailer in the driveway. The house was well-appointed with linens, bath & beach towels, paper products, hand soap, coffee maker, electric tea kettle, fans, a pair of bicycles, and lawn chairs. Michael, the property manager, met us at the house on our first morning to answer any questions we had and to review the checkout procedures. He was very responsive to our requests and also provided good dining recommendations. (Be sure to dine Fish Tales Grill!)

Our stay at Villa Cosima was a lovely respite after waiting two years to have all our family together for a Florida vacation. The house is great for families. It was well equipped: kitchen necessities,pool toys,bikes,baby beds.. The pool was clean and fabulous, hot tub not really necessary with most days being +30c ,but the real adventure of the day was watching for the dolphins, manatee, manta rays and the gar right off the deck. All our meals were poolside , and I suggest some cushions on the chairs would be a lovely asset. On the negative side..the house could really use some TLC , the towels and sheets are in desperate need of replacement, the pool deck was extremely slippery, but I scrubbed it down, some of the deck chairs are broken and the house needs a really good clean , and some interior painting to freshen it up. Overall, we were there for the family fun , and the house offers that with its location to the beach, restaurants, mini golf , biking and real golf too. Michael was incredible to deal with and we look forward to booking with him in our search for a holiday property next year too.

Would rent the property again if available.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Cosima. The furniture was comfortable both inside and out. The beds were excellent, and we are very discriminating in this regard. The kitchen was well equipped with dishes, glassware and silverware. The pots and pans were acceptable but could use some replacing. There were ample towels and linens and a very nice washer and dryer. There was a beautiful Lanai that was large enough for us to host a dinner for ten one evening. We spent considerable time in the pool, which is heated. Unfortunately, there was no pool blanket so during cooler weather the water temperature was a bit cold. Overall, though, the pool was a high point and we enjoyed relaxing in and around it as we waved to the many pleasure boats idling by on the canal in front of our dock. On the few cold days we enjoyed the hot tub while waiting for the pool temperature to rise. The bedrooms are split in three sections, so having multiple couples is very accommodating and provides each couple with privacy and a bathroom. We found the garage stocked with water toys, beach chairs and bicycles. All is all, this was an excellent vacation home in the best location in Cape Coral.
