Stayed May 11, 2019Large, quiet, perfectly equipped, located in a wonderful hill overlooking the sea facing east. Christophe is a superb host, always there when you need him ... with plenty of excellent tips. We have been in many places, this is one of the best.

Stayed Sep 29, 2018We loved Christophe’s beautiful , spacious villa in Tarco . It had a huge garden with various places to sit in the sun and in the shade. The view of the Mediterranean from the windows , which stretch the full length of the house, was stunning; the sunrise spectacular. The beaches in October were empty . Our particular favourite , twenty minutes away, was immediately north of the river mouth at Solenzara. We were there almost every day. It was like a desert island paradise, with secluded coves , as well as a huge stretch of golden sand . We couldn’t believe how we sometimes had the beach entirely to ourselves. It had a great restaurant, right on the beach, Le Voile Rouge , where we often had lunch or went back to , in the evening for dinner . There are numerous great restaurants in the villages all along the coast , including Solenzara and at Sainte Lucie, In Casa was our favourite . I would definitely recommend Christophe’s villa as a great base to explore Corsica . We stayed the full month of October. The mountain passes directly west from Solenzara and Benifacio were our other favourite places to visit.
