When you arrive at Casa das Bromelias, you'll be greeted with a breathtaking view over the bay of Funchal and a lush tropical garden that surrounds the villa, in an atmosphere of peace and tranquillity.

The villa was built in 1996 in an urbanization with a privileged view over the bay of Funchal.

The property is very spacious with various indoor and outdoor spaces and nooks for relaxing and socialising with family or friends.

The total indoor area is around 500 m2 andthe outdoor areas account for more than 700 m2.

The villa has three bedrooms with double beds and en-suite bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a main living room, a dining room, a library, a bar room and a Finnish sauna.

Outside, you can enjoy a spacious swimming pool, a tropical garden and an outdoor dining area. You can also enjoy the wide view over the city and the ocean and contemplate the sunset.

It is equipped with air conditioning, a dishwasher, washing machine, fridge, freezer, cooker, microwave and other utensils, as well as bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi, smart TV with international channels, and other amenities to provide a pleasant and relaxing stay.



LOCATION

The villa is in a quiet urbanization and is conveniently located in one of the areas of the Funchal amphitheatre with the best views, about 10 minutes by car to Funchal city centre and 15 minutes to the airport.

By car, there is easy access to the main roads and you can travel to any part of the island. There are also bus stops nearby for trips to the city centre.

With its amenities and prime location, this villa is the perfect choice for your Madeira holiday near the city of Funchal.



REMARKS

A car is recommended for this location and there is a parking area on the property.

The pool can be heated on request for an extra charge (minimum 5 days). The request for pool heating must be made at least 5 days in advance and will be confirmed with the payment notice. On cold days, the pool heating may not be enough to reach 24ºC and therefore we do not recommend heating the pool between November and April.

We ask all guests to keep food well wrapped, so as not to attract insects due to the island's climate.

Cleaning is done before guests check in and there is a weekly maintenance cleaning, which includes changing bed linen and towels.

The increase in the number of guests implies a price increase of up to 10% per person.



CONDITIONS

1. Parties or behaviour that disturb the peace and well-being of neighbours are not allowed, especially between 10 pm and 8 am when neighbourhood noise is prohibited.

2. An online check-in form will be sent to collect essential identification data for check-in, arrival time and means of transport, which must be submitted by guests at least two days before arrival.

3. Guests must agree the check-in time at least two days before arrival and the waiting time is 60 minutes, after which a new time can be scheduled according to our availability.

4. Guests may be required to present identification upon arrival and provide missing identification details to comply with legal requirements.

5. Any malfunctions, incidents or faults in the initial cleaning must be reported as soon as they are detected so that they can be checked and addressed in a timely manner during the stay. Issues reported late for the sole purpose of obtaining a refund will not be considered.

6. Guests must inform about allergies, conditions or special needs before or immediately after booking in order to verify compliance and appropriate measures to be taken.

    This villa has an amazing view over the city valley and the ocean. Sunset is magnificient. We loved the experience. A Home in Madeira was an excelent host and very responsive.

    Location and the views of Funchal are perfect. Sadly this villa had too many issues which highlighted lack of maintenance, regular checks and investment. It was not as advertised on the website.
