This unique property stands on high ground, amidst extensive almond groves on 60,000 square metres of land all registered as an organic farm. Gifts from Mother nature include organic oranges and lemons from the grove adjoining the villa and the occasional offering of the owner of fresh eggs from his chickens, kept in a small run, hidden away amongst prickly pear trees to the side of the entrance gate.

Views from the first floor living room virtually encompass half the island, from theTramuntana Mountains to the east, distant Formentor on the far side on the Pollenca Bay and majestic sea views to the west over Can Picafort and Alcudia.

Location - Santa Margalida, Son Serra di Marina

Once again, we were delighted by this off the beaten path villa. Set in the countryside, the seclusion and quiet is near total with only nature supplying the soundtrack. We were pleased to go again and will go back. The App is very helpful but not complete. The wi-fi is mostly OK, but occasionally fragile. The signing of the access road could be better, although the directions via the app were helpful.

We loved it and had a fantastic week. We went 14 years ago with children, and now again with just the two of us. This property really worked for us. We love the quiet, the pool and the isolation. There is also some great cycling around. Hope to go back next year. A working tea pot would be great (We could not get the lid off the one in the cupboard) A couple of trays to carry things from the kitchen to outside would be fantastic. A couple of easy chairs with cushions for outside to curl up with a book would be nice. There are dining chairs and sun loungers, but nothing in between. A pool cover to keep the heat in overnight at this time of year. It was noticeably colder in the mornings. It does have an ant problem in the kitchen.

We liked jumping in the pool, playing basket ball and table tennis. We didn't like trying to find somewhere to dump our rubbish which proved extremely difficult. Having to padlock the outer gate was extremely annoying, ewe were given the reason as it was 'better' because the owner had a couple of thousand euro's worth of seeds. Having to complain about lack of pool maintenance and lack of toilet roll which being a necessity should be provided. We were given THE cheapest loo roll available and this reflects badly on the owners. The crazy golf is simply very poorly constructed and a complete waste of time. We didn't see the owner very much and maintenance was virtually non-existent. The worst experience was talking to the local rep. I found him rude, patronising and totally unhelpful.
