Are you looking for a special place where you truly feel like you've found a little slice of paradise This recently renovated one bedroom Bay Pointe villa boasts a million dollar view of tranquil salt marshes, waterways and the shrimp boats located in historic Rockville.

Bay Pointe Villas is one of the few villa communities on Seabrook Island with its own private dock to launch kayaks, go crabbing or sip a cool drink in the evening. There's also a peaceful swimming pool and grillingarea just steps from the villa - a great place to enjoy a good book, take refreshing dip or throw some steaks on the grill. The villa is ideal for a couple longing for a memorable experience on one of South Carolina's most unique and exclusive islands.

The Bay Pointe Villa community is nestled on a small gated peninsula near the entrance to Seabrook Island, this quiet location is ideal for easy access to all the island and the area has to offer. You're within biking/walking distance of the Lake House Community Center with its state-of-the-art fitness center, indoor and outdoor pools, playground, basketball hoops and picnic area. Be sure to check the Calendar of Events for additional activities and fitness classes.

Also within biking distance of the villa is Freshfields Village. This quaint area offers world class shopping, a wide array of delicious dining options, an amazing wine & craft beer bar, and a Harris Teeter grocery store complete with organic produce and gourmet foods. Freshfields also offers various activities throughout the year such as free outdoor concerts, outdoor movies, a weekly Farmers' Market, craft fairs and more.

Bohicket Marina Village is also just a 1/2 mile from the villa. The marina is a major hub of activity where you'll find boat, jet ski and kayak rentals, fishing charters, live music and events along with many shops and popular restaurants.

Seabrook Island is known for its dedication to preserving the wildlife that, along with island residents, call Seabrook home. Birds, deer, turtles, alligators, bobcats and dolphins and more have maintained their natural habitats within the island's maritime forest, beaches, waterways and inlets for hundreds of years. One of the most popular species among wildlife residents are the Atlantic Bottlenose Dolphins. Seabrook and Kiawah Islands are one of the few places in the world where you may witness a unique feeding ritual known as strand feeding. This practice involves groups of dolphins herding a school of fish onto a sandbar or beach. Next, the dolphins literally launch their bodies, which could weigh up to 500 lbs, out of the water and onto the sandbar or shore to feed. This can be seen year round as, unlike other species of dolphins, these dolphins don't migrate to other regions. They live here year round and have adopted this sort of behavior instead of venturing out further into the ocean to hunt. Be sure to visit North Beach where you’re likely to see dolphins strand feed. It's an amazing thing to witness!

Seabrook Island has three and a half miles of gorgeous white sandy beach for you to explore or to pick the perfect spot for you to relax in your beach chair. However, if your trip to the Low Country includes a trip to visit Charleston, you’re just 30 minutes from downtown. The ‘Holy City’ is rich in history, architecture, culture and incredible five star dining and Low Country cuisine.

Paradise Awaits!

A beautiful location on the South Carolina coast. Quiet retreat to enjoy beaches and marshland yet has access to nearby shops, grocery and restaurants. Villa is as advertised…. clean, well appointed, beautiful views, amenities, etc.

This place was a gem. Exactly as pictured. Being in the marsh was magical. Bike ride to and on the beach was so easy and at times I felt like I was in a National Geographic special due to all the wildlife. The condo was perfect. King size bed with luscious sheets. Walk in shower and plenty spacious for two with screened in porch.

The views of the marsh and impeccable accommodation were worthy of five stars—then add the convenience to shopping, grocery, restaurants, and walking trails. Another bonus was access to Seabrook Island beach and club amenities and adventure provided by host’s kayak. So much to love.

My husband and I stayed for a week. The condo was a great location since you are outside of the main gated community and I prefer a more quiet setting. It was just the right size for the two of us. Nicely decorated and clean. The owner makes good use of the allotted size. Nice upkeep of the complex including the pool which we thoroughly enjoyed. We felt welcomed from the very beginning when we arrived at the condo with jazz music playing and ambient lighting. We loved North Beach and were lucky enough to witness the dolphins strand feeding. We did not pay the extra daily fee to use Seabrook's facility center with the workout area and large community pool. It seemed like that pool area was used more by young children and the smaller one at the complex was perfect for us. There was plenty to do and see in and around Seabrook Island without paying for a facility pass.

Watching the vast salt marsh slowly swell with water and lazily empty back to the Atlantic while an assortment of herons fished was ultimately relaxing. This slow rhythm left us no choice but to slow down with it. Just what we needed. We could soak in the views of meandering sailboats from the expanse of bedroom or living room windows, or the screened-in porch. Cleanliness, communication, etc. all were top-notch. Our 3-day trial run left us yearning for a longer stay. The legendary beauty of Seabrook Island is something to see. The lack of crowds and traffic other beaches have to endure is absent. Will be back.

We enjoyed the quiet during off season. There is a lot to read about the property, community, amenities, etc. Make sure you read it all thoroughly. The island is walking and biking friendly. This means that people walking and biking will not travel single file or get over for vehicles. Go slow, be safe and give them plenty of room. Since this property is not close to the beach you'll want to drive or ride your bike to the beach accesses. Getting to see the dolphins strand feeding was fantastic.

The condo was beautiful and the marsh view was perfect! My husband and I did enjoy our stay. It was far away from the hustle and bustle of Charleston, and was just what we were looking for. We enjoyed walking out on the pier to view the marsh and wildlife. I would give it a perfect review, but we did have one mishap that was a turn off to us. On the first night, we saw a cockroach in the shower. Upon awaking from our second night, we killed two more in the shower. That is the only thing that we experienced that was not perfect. I was apprehensive to leave any belongings out in fear of a roach getting in them. I have a phobia of cockroaches in my home, so this was a big deal and I probably reacted a little more extreme than others. The condo was very relaxing and the table and chairs overlooking the marsh was perfect for a cup of tea in the evening and a cup of coffee in the mornings.
