– THIS IS A SELF-CATERING PROPERTY:

Although we provide the start amenities, we do recommend stopping by the nearest supermarket to purchase additional personal toiletries and desired meals.
The home is non-smoking and absolutely no pets are allowed. Violation of this term will incur a charge against the security deposit for the reservation of $200.00 minimum.
This home is under a pest control protocol applied by a professional company. But as this is a garden-style property, it means that its front and back doors have exit points to the outside, we ask all guests to please not leave any of the doors open as in Florida’s climate there are insects all year long, and leaving doors and windows open will allow unwanted entry.
– HOUSEKEEPING:
There is no daily housekeeping service provided in the rental rate. Before check-in, the unit will be thoroughly cleaned and inspected by our check-in supervisor to ensure all cleaning and sanitizing protocols were applied.
We use a professional company for washing all linen. Clean sheets and towels will be available in the unit.
Mid-stay cleaning services during your stay can be requested for an additional fee.
– FOOD:
As per Florida law, we are not allowed to leave open food in the refrigerators or kitchen closets, hence, all food items will be removed after the guest checks out.
– TRASH DISPOSAL: Please observe trash collection days and place trash accordingly.
Guests are responsible for their own trash.
The trash collection only happens when the trash is properly placed inside the trash bins without overflowing, and in proper trash bags. If there's excessive trash that won't fit the bins or it there's any garbage placed directly in the bins, the resort will not collect it. If this case occurs, we will hire a private trash collection service and the costs of U$100.00 + taxes will be redirected to the guests.
All trash should be placed inside the bin in front of the house.
The collection happens 7 days a week from 6 am to 2 pm.
– POOL HEATER:
Please note that pool heating is NOT included in the rental rate.
Ordering the Pool Heating Service:
Pool heating is available for $40 a day + taxes (minimum 4 days). If you would like the Spa to be heated, you will need to add the pool heat to your reservation. Pool heat is not recommended for short stays since it usually requires up to 24 hours to heat the swimming pool. Also, pool heating should be hired up to 48h before guest arrival. If it is ordered after that, a $30 connection fee will be charged. also, if the pool heater isn't hired for the whole stay a $30 connection/disconnection fee will apply.
The spillover spa cannot be heated on its own. The spillover spa is attached to the pool, using the same water. There is no option to only heat the spa since it is the same water as the pool. When pool heating is chosen, the pool will be heated to a temperature of around 90-94 degrees Fahrenheit.
In the coldest winter months heating the pool can be difficult as the water temperature drops overnight. Florida has a temperate climate, but cold fronts can bring overnight temperatures in the 30s and 40s that can last for several days. Unfortunately, under these circumstances, there is no way the pool heater will be able to keep the water at a temperature in the mid to high 80s. Please note that cold weather does NOT constitute a mechanical failure and no refunds will be given for problems that are due to cold weather.
– BBQ GRILL:
The use of the BBQ Grill is NOT included in the rental rate.
The house has a grill available for rent. That will be provided for USD 130, and this fee will cover 1 gas refill. If interested, you need to notify us before arrival. A $30 connection fee will be charged if it is ordered after check-in.
- INTERNET / CABLE:
We are not responsible for third-party services such as TV/Internet, if there may be an outage in the area, it is not refundable since they are complimentary services for our guests.
– PARTIES:
All homes that have a noise nuisance that ends up with the police being called to the house will result in a $500 FINE.
TO AVOID ANY ADDITIONAL CHARGE, WE ASK THAT OUR HOME IS LEFT IN THE SAME CONDITION AS WHEN YOU ARRIVED.
– ADDITIONAL CHARGES:
If there is any damage caused by the guest and the Management Company has to send someone out to fix, repair, or do extra cleaning, additional charges will apply:
- Plugged toilet: $80.00
- Smoking inside the unit: $500.00
- Moved furniture and not returned to original placement: $100.00 per piece of furniture moved
- Excessive required clean or also considered a double clean: $200.00
- Frozen AC (this could happen if thermostat temperature is placed below 72F or if doors are left open): $200.00
- Check-out after 11 am or late check-out is considered an extra charge.
– STARTER SUPPLIES provided with the home include:
- 1 Kitchen Paper Towel
- 1 Small Bar of Soap Per Bath
- 1 Toilet Paper Roll Per Bath
- 1 Dish Washing Capsule in The Kitchen
- 1 Extra Trash Bag.
The host did not provide check in information until 3 days after we were to check in. Luckily the solara guardhouse allowed us access into the community, when we arrived at the house the door was WIDE OPEN. We first had to walk the house without the kids to make sure there was noone inside that was not supposed to be. Upon arriving, only 1 of the 6 toilets in the house was flushing, 4 other ones had zero water in them and the last one appeared to be clogged. We immediately started reaching out to the host via email and the phone number that was provided through vrbo. It was late and we drove 23 hours so we went to bed having to share one working toilet. Day 2 we still had no reply from the host so we continued to reach out and via email and the phone number provided, we still only had one working toilet and the heat to the pool was not working that we had paid for. Later that night as we are doing dishes we realize that the one toilet that appeared clogged is now OVER FLOWING all into the living room, dining room, and kitchen area. ANY TIME the water in the sink was turned on the toilet would be pushing out nasty water. Again we were calling and emailing the host. Day 3 early morning I reached out to VRBO and they were finally able to get ahold of host via and alternative number that had. Host was to be sending out a plumber and cleaning crew as the toilet water had basically gotten all over the whole first floor, the outside by the pool, and all over many of our towels and clothes and other items. This was supposed to be a brand new house and it was nothing of the sort. The plumber finally came late on day 3, mind you we have now not been able to utilize anything in the home for OVER HALF our stay. The plumber found the clog and got the toilets working and unclogged. The plumber used the host towels AND our personal beach towels to clean up the water while he was working in the bathroom but left the standing water in the dining and kitchen area. Then used the washer to put toilet water filled towels in to ring them out.Now we were left with the toilet water and NO cleaning crew as promised by the host. We had no towels remaining as the plumber took them all with him. We had no washer to use because now it was filled with toilet water. We had to go out and purchase new towels and cleaning supplies to clean the toilet water. Day 4 was mostly spent cleaning all the toilet water. Avoid this location at all costs. It is not a new home.
This is a brand new beautiful house - I think we were the 3rd renters. The house is in phase 2 across from the main property and there is some construction still going on (Feb 2023), but it wasn't disruptive to us. It has 6 bedrooms with a variety of options from twin to king for large groups. There is a pool at the house but we opted to use the resort pool as we were there for over 2 weeks and didn't want to pay the daily heating fee. We traveled with our 2 and 4 year olds and the Solara property is AMAZING for younger kids with an enclosed playground, splash pad (better for the 5+ crowd) and giant pool. There's also a gym, coffee shop, ice cream store, restaurant and small market. The property also offers a lot of activities for kids like visits from Gatorland and arts and crafts. The house had most of the things we needed. We cook at home a lot so there were a few kitchen gadgets that we needed to buy, but the house is well stocked overall for most needs and the property managers provided a mop when requested. Overall we had a fantastic trip and would definitely book with Book and Go again.
