Both the golf course and beach are right by the house

We had a lovely stay in this villa. The villa was clean, well equipped and nicely decorated. The owner was very helpful and communicative. However we were provided with out of date information via Vrbo regarding access to the property and Wi-Fi log in details, but we believe the owner has now updated this as he was unaware. We would have liked more towels, although beach towels were a bonus. On previous hires of other villas the pool was cleaned at least once a week but that wasn’t the case here. Also the instructions advise parking on the road in front of the villa, but the road is VERY narrow and with our hire car I doubt anyone would have got past. We found there wasn’t a vast selection of restaurants nearby and ended up travelling 30 minutes to nearby Dénia and javea. A washing machine would have been a bonus as we never located the mentioned nearby laundrette. We also felt the villa was lacking an information pack for visitors with regard to restaurants, shops and activities. Overall we were very comfortable and enjoyed our stay.

We had a great stay in Manfred’s place. The house was very clean and super well equipped. And the most amazing part is the outdoors with great terrace and swimming pool. The beach is very pleasant for kids, very nice area. We would recommend highly to anyone who wants a nice place to stay by the beach. Very warm thanks to Manfred for his hospitality.

Everything was great. The house is well equiped and has all amenities and warehouse necessary for cooking, etc. The swimming pool is very well oriented to be exposed to the sun from the morning until sunset and the garden is really nice, with several seating areas, shadow and a nice view of the golf field. 7 minutes walking to the beach. The beach in Oliva nova is wonderful, we already knew it from other summers. There are also 2 or 3 good restaurants at the centro comercial. There are mosquitoes but the house has protection in the windows and electric devices to keep them far. Things to consider, although not a problem: there is no washing machine which could be a problem for longer stays, the TV is in German and we could not find beach chairs but we took ours so no problem at all. Thank you!!

We spent 5 nights here with our 14 year old son and loved every minute! Friends of ours were also in Oliva Nova so this was a great base for us to meet up with them. The house was clean, comfortable, with every amenity we needed. The pool was lovely, providing welcome relief from the heat. The outside space had lots of options for seating or relaxing in the sun or shade. Manfred provided us with some information about the local area, which was really useful. A fabulous stay, we hope to be back in the future.

Using simple filters, this property was pricier than many of the other listings in the general area. I justified the added expense by knowing I'd be getting a private pool but also 1) hoping to get a certain level of privacy, and 2) hoping to get away from it all. It was a hit on all levels. The pool was incredible. A comfortable 87 degrees in the morning to 90 degrees by late afternoon. Be aware that it's a level approximately 5 feet throughout. Also, there were plenty of things to see around the general area to keep me busy if I chose to leave the area. The property's outdoor area was spacious and offered 5 different seating areas which could be alternated to get maximum shade from the sun. Privacy was excellent as it butted up to a golf course with a 4-5 foot wall and there was ample shrubbery to separate it from the neighbors on each side. Note that the top level of the building is inaccessible as it appears to be the owners' space. No big deal as there was plenty of room on the main level. My only minor suggestions (not complaints) are as follows: First, an earlier commentator suggested some written instructions/suggestions. It was true that the app (once mastered) was relatively effective. Still, for those technologically challenged people, it's always nice to have things in writing. Secondly and somewhat related to first, the Yelp link from the app had the nearest restaurant at 2 miles from property. We found the amazing Chiringuito Sunset close to the recommended beach access. Great drinks, good vibe, and decent food from a limited menu. That is unless you order paella 24 hours ahead of time. The paella was delicious. Extraordinary that this place was not even mentioned by Yelp. Maybe because it's not a permanent establishment. It is visible if you increase Google map's field of view. The owners did suggest this place after I pre-ordered my paella after I e-mailed them about places to eat near apartment, which made me feel comfortable about my decision Also, I believe cable is solely in German. No big deal as I was not too interested in watching a lot of tv although I was surprised that there was no Spanish. Lastly, it would have been nice to have a broom with a handle. Super minor suggestions (not at all complaints) to what was otherwise a terrific trip. Thank you again for sharing your home with us.

We had a lovely October vacation in this home. We were 4 adults and 2 kids under 2yrs old. The rooms were small, but enough space to unpack into the closets and have a suitcase on the ground beside the crib. Nice quiet location. You definitely need a rental car, as everything is driving distance except the beach, the golf course and a few small shops. There aren't pool toys, but there's a little store that sells inflatable everythings just a few blocks away for pretty cheap. Kitchen was equipped adequately for our group. We would have appreciated a little 'what's nearby' package, as we arrived tired and hungry and didn't know what was in the area. Google was good, but misdirected us a few times with opening times and locations (as it will!). Owner was very friendly and quick to reply to our last-minute reservation request. Everything was easy and convenient, and he even had a highchair for us - very much appreciated! I recommend this home!

We stayed 4 days and its very comfortable. Nice and quite house, In a quite area. walking distance to the beach...just perfect. Owners are very nice and makes things easy. Muchas Gracias!
