Stayed Aug 13, 2022The house and location are perfect for a family holiday, the pool is lovely and there are plenty of covered areas in the garden in which to relax when the sun gets too hot! The proprietors are very accommodating and fixed any issues (washing machine failed during our stay) immediately. The only thing to be aware of is that the region near the lake does suffer from mosquitoes which come out in the evening - so take repellent with you as it’s expensive in Italy!

Stayed Sep 3, 2019We were greeted by, I think, Manuella's parents. Who were lovely, friendly and tried their best to be helpful. However, I speak zero Italian and their English is limited. So, we were left feeling a little confused about a few issues (bins/recycling, location of supermarkets, etc...). Most places we visit have a folder containing all the useful information, translated into different languages. We loved the house, location and swimming pool. However, there were a few serious cons. The house had not been cleaned properly. We found lots of cobwebs. The plates, dishes and cutlery were filthy. We had to wash everything in the kitchen. The dishwasher didn't work (it seemed to cover everything with even more food), it must have been clogged. Also, the coffee maker had not been emptied and was full of mouldy coffee grounds (yuck!). Overall maintenance was pretty bad . There was a broken shower handle in one room, a screeching extractor fan in another, etc... Nothing serious, but it could all be easily be fixed. This is such a shame because it is a truly fantastic place and the owners are lovely. It just needs a little more thought and attention to detail.
