Beautiful oceanfront 5 Bedroom villa with pool access & steps from Coligny

I hope to be able to update this review once I have resolution with the owner and Island Time Property Management. It has been over 2 weeks that we have been ghosted with little communication & returned calls.We planned a family vacation to this VBRO 10 months in advance, meeting contractual arrangements and looking forward to an ocean front view, large balcony for gatherings and all other noted amenities. Checked in on Sunday, and to no advance notice, we had scaffolding construction on Thursday that obliterated our view for the remainder of our stay, 3.5 days.Our view gone, workers presence caused noise, and lack of privacy immediately in front of our balcony. Balcony usage became undesirable.No notice given at all by owner or property management. When I communicated my complaint to the property management they said ‘they understood & if they had known of this on site construction, they would not have recommended this booking’.This is an expensive, 5 bedroom villa. I have asked for 3 nights compensation. A token 10% refund was offered which we did not accept. The last communication was the property manager would get back to me after he talked to the owner. No word yet.I hope to update this review noting follow up resolution and renewed trust in contractual obligations .

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rental space itself has so much room accommodated our large, growing family very well. The beds were extremely comfortable, and all the appliances were top of the line. The only thing that I would recommend would be monitoring who is cleaning. The floors were disgusting and many of the showers have hair all over the wall still, that was a little alarming, but otherwise we had a nice.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: There are no directions to get around but after a couple days of 'wandering around' you will figure it out. Also after you are gone they will send you a bill for anything not left perfectly. I will avoid it from now on. Worst place on the Island we have every stayed at and we have come to HHI since 1988 almost every year (minus a couple). Even owned property on the island. Look elsewhere is my suggestion.

Accommodations are perfect for family get togethers.

Excellent place for a family of all ages. Close to the beach, Tiki Hut Bar for live bands, bike friendly area, grocery store within 1/2 mile walk, variety of dining options just across the street, nice vacationers, quick response time to questions from the rental agent. We all thoroughly enjoyed our time. Our young children had interesting play areas to keep them busy. The seniors had walks or bike rides on the beach. And the rest of the crew fit in some pickleball about 15 minuters away.

Could use a little more explanation about the separation of the multiple living spaces being down the stairs and across the hall. Overall, all of us were happy with our stay and accommodations.

Only complaint is there was no where to wash off feet/ towels when coming off the beach.
