The house is located out of town along a dirt road that needed a high clearance to travel on due to large rocks on this very, very rough path, not a road to me. The pool was drained and covered. The rooms were clean. The set up for this property is strange, each room is it own unit with outside access only. So not a typical one unit house setup. So the kitchen/living room was one unit, the bedroom was a separate unit. You had to go outside to get to each room, which was not convenient when it was raining. And the laundry facility was a joke, located in a old wooded shed 20 meters from the house combined with lawn and garden equipment. Bottom line is we would not stay here again. The upside is the property has all new fixtures and equipment. To some the remoteness may be great.

My recent stay at this countryside villa in Menfi, Sicily was an absolute delight.
