Ashland Palms: Modern pool home, close to Disney on Glenbrook Resort

Overall not a terrible stay but did have an issue. Night one noticed small bugs on kitchen counter, messaged owner that we would reach out to management company next day since it was late. Woken up by son 6am next morning (sun)many bugs were crawling on the iPad and daughter’s glasses on nightstand in their room! Called mgmt immediately! Were told exterminator would come out next day. Mgr did come out same day, I had already went to Home Depot and gotten spray myself. Exterminator didn’t come out until Wednesday when he said it was “baby ants”. Overall communication was good but the bugs are not something we would be willing to deal with again. As mentioned in other posts there is no pantry space so we ended up having to store everything in the refrigerator as we didn’t want any bugs to get into the food or cause any additional ones to come out. Universal was about 45-50 minutes away. Supermarkets, Walmart, and restaurants within 5-10 minute drive. Quiet neighborhood. Hot tub part of pool requires heat be paid for, we didn’t add that and it was colder than the pool.

Thank you to the management company for excellent communication! The house is in a great, safe neighborhood. Centrally located to all the fun and parks, not a far drive at all! Loved the pool and hot tub. The house is exceptionally clean, lots of room to spread out. The bedrooms and bathrooms where comfortable and spacious. The kitchen was great to cook and use. Great appliances to enjoy, the Keurig and toaster was great daily. 5 stars all the way!

Our choice to stay here definitely exceeded our expectations!!! The pool and hot tub were the kids favorite. The location was safe and having the place secured by alarm was definitely a plus. We would definitely stay here again!!

Good sized, well apportioned home in a comfortable neighborhood. All amenities inside are new-ish and was the perfect size/fit for our family of 6. Close enough to the Theme Parks. The manage meant responded to our requests/questions quickly and professionally. Would highly recommend to others.

Overall the home was nice. The only thing they could improve on was pantry space. There was no room to put any groceries away for the week and we had to keep them on the counters. Game room was a great source of entertainment. Location was good. No fault of the owner, but neighbor’s dog poop smell was a little over bearing at times and it appears they don’t pick it up after their dog uses the backyard. If I ever came back to the Orlando area, I would rent this home again.

The villa lived up to all expectations, it was clean, spacious, well furnished and bright and airy. The pool was great, we paid for it to be heated and it was well worth it. David the owner was receptive to any enquiries we had and the whole family had a great time utilising the games room and the pool and spa. The surrounding area was quiet, hospitable, and it was easy to reach theme parks and other attractions etc from there

My family and I truly enjoyed our stay here for 7 Days. We were 4 Adults and 3 Kids. The pictures depicted online is nothing compared to what you see in person. This home is gorgeous, high ceilings, extremely spacious, clean, great private pool attached to this home for use with a jacuzzi as well. To heat the the pool was an additional fee and needed for the kids, very happy that option was available. Game room was especially fun too! All appliances were available in the kitchen, you name it they had it. House was about 30 mins away from Disney parks which for us was perfect. The neighborhood is quiet, safe and clean. We loved that anything left behind would be used or donated. Such as toilet paper, food, dish soap, etc. Air conditioning was always functional as well as hot water. Security system was easy to use and functional at all times. My only con was that one bathroom shower head was broken and one sink in the master bathroom was clogged. Other than that we loved it and will recommend to family and friends. Thank you for such an amazing stay and seamless service.

The house was perfect for our family Disney trip. The pool was much needed after long days. We were surprised at the time it takes to get into Disney, while only 10 miles or so in distance, typically it would take 35 minutes due to traffic. Just a heads up to plan accordingly. Overall though, great stay.
