Stayed May 3, 2025This was our first trip to the Amalfi Coast, and we had no idea how perfect Conca Dei Marini would be. A quiet, quaint and friendly village. Everyone we met went out of their way to make our stay easy. From Tania our contact for the Villa Ghirardelli to the people in the shops went beyond our expectations. Our villa was large with beautiful views of the water, with all needed amenities. The hot tub was fabulous after a day of walking. We were within walking distance of 2-3 restaurants, a grocery store and wine shop. La Bottega Dei Corso right out out back steps was a wonderful shop, cafe and bar. Our villa contact Tania was very responsive to all of our questions and able to arrange any cars or activities we needed. We were also greeted with pasta, say very and water & wine for a meal to make upon our arrival. Everyone we met whether it be our divers or people in the town gave us a great history lesson. Our day trip to Positano was nice but very crowded. Conga Dei Marini seems to be a hidden gem. Beware and bring good walking shoes and be ready to climb up and down stairs no matter where you stay in the Amalfi coast.

Stayed Jun 16, 2024We really enjoyed our stay at this Villa. It was spacious, clean and quite unique. Each room had an efficient air conditioner that was definitely needed, despite being close to the coast. The kitchen was small, and the pizza oven was not functional, but it otherwise did the job since we did not eat at the property anyway. Tania greeted us upon our arrival, which was really appreciated because these addresses can be really hard to find. She was also quite responsive before, and during our stay. For example, one of the A/C units failed and she had a technician fix the issues literally within 5 minutes of me calling her! The location of this villa was absolutely perfect. At first we were worried that there would not be enough restaurants walking distance as we did not want to use the car too much (Amalfi coast is really challenging), but there were at least 2 excellents restaurants walking distance (Piazza da Nino being our absolute favorite), not to mention a charming breakfast place called La bottega del Corso, with an amazing view. The only minor downside is that for a Villa of this caliber, we would have expected that basic necessities such as toilet paper or dishwashing liquid would be plentiful for the duration of our trip (we stayed 5 nights). Also the wine was a nice touch, but it was a cheap sparkling red wine that was less than 2 euros. Again, for the caliber of this Villa, this is a missed opportunity to wow the customer.
