Alghero Independent villa for 10 people with private pool near the beach

The garden and pool are great and our kids loved it. However:--when we made the reservation we asked if we could extent our stay with one night. This was ok, so we booked our flight tickets. Later on we received a message it was not possible after all (only if we payed 1.200 euro instead of 900 euro for the last night to compensate for the broken week). So we had to stay in a hotel for our last night. -The advertisement states that there is a ping-pong table which our kids love. They were disappointed to find out there is no pingpong tabel. -Also the hot tub which is mentioned in the advertisement is not there-In one of the sleeping rooms the airco was broken, so two of our adult kids had to sleep in one bed. -On Tuesday the neighbour started to play music right next to fence where the only shade spot at the pool is. This went on for the rest of the week. As we understood from the agent/owner they could not do anything about it because it is legally allowed to play music on your property.

It is a wonderful property with an outstanding garden an a very big pool. Absolutely clean and beautiful. Well deserved five stars. Also the owners are very, very lovely people. In the beginning we had little problems with the air conditioning, but Mrs. Mercedes Lopez from ClickSardegna was an awesome help. Top service! 100% recommendation! Thank you! This is a great villa with amazing grounds. It's set in a rural location, but only about 15 minutes from the airport and Alghero town, with its Marina, shops and Centro Storico. One of the outstanding features of the villa is the pool. It's much bigger than those of other such properties we've stayed at, with a small diving board at the deep end, and coloured pool lights, which really impressed the kids. The highlights of our stay were a day trip on the Andrea Jensen sailing barge and a tasting menu at the Sa Mandra' Agriturismo restaurant a few miles away. Everyone involved here worked hard to make sure that our holiday went smoothly, including staying up very late on our first night to meet us after our flight was delayed and getting in a supply of groceries for the following day's breakfast. Congratulations to Donna Maria Mercedes and the owner, Claudio. Very highly recommended by all the guests.

We had a great stay in this really well kept, spacious villa. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and well kept (a gardener came a couple of times during our 2 week stay). They are much bigger than the photos. The villa is in the countryside, about a 10/15 minute drive from the airport. It is extremely quiet and private. The pool is the star of the show, large, deep with a fun diving board. We spent so much time in it. Around the pool there is also a shower and a place to cook/use the bathroom so you can pretty much live outside! The kids loved the fact there were chickens in the next field to visit and also a couple of friendly, outdoor cats! The house has everything you need and is comfortable. The wifi was pretty spotty so if that’s a big then then it might be worth bringing a hot spot. Didn’t really bother us though. We had a brilliant time staying here and would definitely coke back!

We and our friends loved it!! The pictures didn't do it justice. It's clear Maria understands what guests want. This home is clean, convenient to everything, and suited us well (10 adults). Maria was a terrific host, she was quick to respond to my questions, had great recommendations for our visit, and made it easy for us to check-in/out. Nice kitchen. We loved having access to the pool just in front of the house. We could have stayed longer. Bedrooms are on opposite sides of the house and have large spacious bathrooms en suite. Very short distance from local restaurants for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Adorable and relaxing outdoor private deck. No clue if any of the TVs worked but internet was fast. Check in was easy, the guest instructions/expectations were clearly stated. There's a huge pool and SPA in the villa that's easy to get to. We really hope to go back.
