Alghero holiday home: Villa Relax with private pool and panoramic views

We had a lovely stay at Villa Relax. We had a few issues when we first arrived but Massimo was very helpful and swiftly sorted things out.Lots of comfortable areas to sit outside, around the upstairs pool or in the downstairs courtyard area. We did feel there needed to be a more comfortable inside sitting area for the cooler weather, also the sitting room lighting was very bright.The two quite separate areas of the house worked well for us, we hadn’t really been aware of the layout when booking.Poglina Beach, 5 minutes by car from the house, is fantastic, huge, sandy and beautiful. There’s a restaurant and also a brilliant little bar ‘Ricciolina’ that had great music, serves delicious cocktails and has a really friendly vibe.

Our stay at this villa was absolutely unforgettable! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the peaceful atmosphere, stunning views, and charming Mediterranean character of the home. The space was spotless, beautifully maintained, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay.The outdoor areas were the highlight. We spent most of our time lounging by the pool and enjoying the serene landscape. It felt like our own private paradise. The location was also ideal: just far enough from the bustle to feel tranquil, yet close enough to explore the gorgeous beaches, restaurants, and historic sites of Alghero.The hosts were welcoming and responsive, making everything from check-in to check-out smooth and stress-free. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay with friends, and we’re already talking about coming back.Highly recommend this gem to anyone looking for a true Sardinian escape!

This was just perfect - the property is amazing, well located 10 mins out of town, incredible views, beautiful pool, fully stocked kitchen, but the best part was the incredible host Massimo who went so far out of his way to make our stay incredible, from recommendations, to helping us find an open pharmacy on Sunday, he was amazing. The house and surrounding area was beautiful. My family and I stayed here for a week to kick off a 3 month trip. The patios and yard were even more beautiful in person than they were in the photos. The jasmine and bougainvillea was in full bloom when we arrived. All of the beaches were slightly different, but all were stunningly beautiful.The only thing to keep in mind is that it is essentially two separate apartments, each with two bedrooms and a bathroom. You have to go outside and up the stairs to go in between them. It worked for us, our older kids staying in one, with my husband and I staying in the other with our youngest, but something good to know if you have little ones.

Lovely, spacious villa with good facilities - pool, terrace and lounging area are all excellent. Massimo our host was very attentive and knowledgeable - helped us book some great restaurants in Alghero including Mabrouk which was a highlight. A fantastic beach close by, literally 5 minutes by car. Drive to Bosa was spectacular along the coast road.and we love Alghero - great vibe and plenty of history to the place. Would love to return to Sardinia sometime soon! Grazie Mille!

Amazing value. Would stay again.

The villa is gorgeous, very clean and comfy. This really is a small piece of paradise. The swimming pool is huge, as well as the yard with all these olive trees. On top of that, Massimo what very welcoming and very accomodating, providing us with a baby crib. We really enjoyed our stay!

Nice Host, great property. Kitchen very simple but enough.
