Stayed Dec 31, 1969We loved our stay in the Villa. We got massages at the spa, swam in the crater, and enjoyed good food to name a few highlights. We live down the road in Salt Lake City so it was a nice little weekend getaway. I really have no complaints and would definitely stay here again.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Room was ok. I wish there was better lighting in the room, it felt very dark. Sheets were clean but rest of the room was not. There was a used lays chips bag behind the night table. So it seems deep cleaning between stays is definitely not occuring.there was a lot of stuff on the floor so vacuum didn't happen either.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969This room was just what we needed/expected. It was quiet, comfortable, clean and the check in process/communication was great from the manager. Parking was full in the lot we were in, and there was some confusion on how to get back to our exact building, so perhaps some instructions ahead of time on that would have saved us some time, but with that said we checked in while it was dark outside. Thank you!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The room was ok and it was clean, but there were a couple issues. The TV didn't work right. The audio and picture were off on most every channel which made it difficult to watch. The amenities cards didn't work and we weren't able to use the pool.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We've been staying at the Zermatt Resort for years. Always booking directly with the hotel for a hotel room (but then again maybe not with the hotel as every year we checked in they said it was booked thru another party -even though I did it from their website). Seems their service has been slipping every year. Thought we would try the villas. With the name Villas you would think you are getting a little more. Nope. A one Bedroom with one bath IS NOT a one bedroom separate from a living area. The room was just a bedroom with a bathroom (same but less than what you get with booking a room thru the hotel). At least at the hotel, with a room exactly like this, you have a microwave and refrigerator in the room. Not here. Nope. Our stay was for 9 days. You don't get daily maid service which we were okay with. We only had one hotel size shampoo, conditioner, bar of soap - you know the tiny little sample bottles for the two of us, for 9 days. No lotion or face wipes. The tiny little hair dryer overheats after a minute of use. The bathroom towels had holes and rips in them. No paper and pen that we have always had provided to us in a hotel. Watch out for the elevators. It stops on your floor but was hit and miss if the door would open by itself. Scared me the first time thinking I was trapped in the elevator. I finally pressed the floor button and the door opened. Happened intermittently. The bed squeaks horribly - even breathing set it off. Upon check in the hallway had a strong oder of skunk...someone smoking pot in their room. As we got closer to our room the smell changed to that of rotting trash. We passed a worker on our way to our room and he had a bucket load of trash he was wheeling down the hallway. Our room unfortunately was right across from a dump area for people to dispose of extra room trash and recyclables. The smell just kept getting stronger and stronger. Sunday it started seeping under our hotel door. On Monday morning I stopped at the front desk to let them know that either the trash bin needed to be swapped out or they better start checking for dead bodies in the nearby rooms. The issue was resolved by that afternoon. When we booked this room we were told we got to use the amenities of the hotel. HOWEVER, they don't let you know that the free shuttle is not an amenity but a service. So in order to get to the nearby slopes you need to drive. This was inconvenient as one of us is a non skier and we had scheduled our time based on the other person being able to use the shuttle. Parking lot is extremely packed on the weekends. Villa building is right next to a farm yard so there is the heavy smell of manure. Service has been slipping at this hotel: they used to provide coffee in the lobby, that disappeared with them providing infused water. Now the infused water is just plain water; no fruit. The bakery connected to the hotel used to have coffee sitting out on the small table so you could pour yourself a refill. They no longer do that. The restaurant is just meh.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969You might want to coordinate with the Xplorie group for the activities. I ended up spending 45 mins with Adventure Haus to get my one day of 'free' activity. After being on hold with the Xplorie agent for 40 mins they finally talked to the guys at the boutique and despite them not understanding the 'promo', they were kind enough to honor it because they were annoyed at me and the whole situation. not cool. Also, the cards access to the facilities don't work. We had to guy some random guys to give us access. You should also be clear about this room not having a kitchenette. We ended up having to trash $100 worth of groceries. Anything you can do for the paper thin walls, would be great. The guy next door snored all night, therefore this momma did not sleep.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Thank you for providing the missing coffee maker. The room was nice though the bathroom was small (couldn't open the room safe because it was locked and blocked by the toilet).. I didn't like paying the exorbitant amrenties fees, especially since we didn't use any. I wouldn't have known what was available anyway since a cursory glance of the notebook in the room didn't point amenities out that I saw.
