Summary:
Peaceful 2BR villa on 11 acres near Nashville. This historic home is believed to include Brenda Lee’s childhood house. Relax with a private hot tub, deck, and firepit. Shared pool and game room. Great for couples, families, and music lovers. We offer concierge services and fun extras like s’mores kits and Nerf rentals. Hosted by a 4x Superhost. Please see the full listing and 3-D tour before booking.

The Space:
Tucked into 11 scenic acres in Goodlettsville, this two-bedroom villa offers a peaceful place to stay with quick access to downtown Nashville. Guests often describe it as the best of both worlds—quiet, private, and surrounded by nature, yet close to shopping, dining, and live music.

The structure is believed to include Brenda Lee’s childhood home—moved to this property decades ago and still preserving bits of that era. Inside, you’ll find memorabilia and décor celebrating her career. Please note: Brenda Lee did not live at this address, but in the original structure relocated here.

Outside, you’ll enjoy a private hot tub, sunroom, deck, firepit, and swing/play area. A wooded trail and small creek run through the property. Off-street parking is available via a ¼-mile gravel driveway.

The villa has two king bedrooms and a queen sleeper sofa—ideal for 6 guests. Max occupancy is 8. The dining table seats 6, and the living room includes comfy seating for 5.

The kitchen includes a fridge, stove, microwave, dishwasher, Keurig, and all the basics for cooking and dining. You’ll also have a washer/dryer (some cosmetic rust, but fully functional), strong Wi-Fi, and a work desk if needed.

The pool (open April–Sept) and game room (arcade, pool table, air hockey) are shared. Pool use is scheduled for privacy. The two optional add-on bedrooms (1 king, 1 queen, and a second bath) connect off the game room. If not rented by your group, we may access them during your stay—but you’ll have a lockable door for full privacy. This upgrade turns the unit into a 4BR layout (extra fee applies).

We offer extras you won’t find in most listings:
• Concierge options for special occasions
• On-site shop with firewood, Nerf blasters, s’mores kits, and more

Guest Access:
You’ll have your own private entrance with a keypad lock. Shared areas like the pool and game room are scheduled in advance to make sure every group has personal time. Arrival instructions are sent before check-in.

The Neighborhood:
The home is in the historic Magnolia Station neighborhood—just 2 miles from I-65 and 10 minutes to Rivergate Mall. You’re 20–30 minutes from Broadway and other Nashville hot spots, and just 4 miles from antique stores and cafés in old-town Goodlettsville.

Though close to everything, the home feels remote. A long gravel drive leads past open fields where deer, turkeys, and cattle are often seen. No nearby neighbors means no noise concerns or party complaints—unlike most city listings.

Getting Around:
Uber and Lyft serve this area. A typical ride to downtown Nashville costs between $23 and $43.

Other Things to Note:
• Great for families
• No indoor smoking or vaping. Outdoor smoking area provided. ($150 min. fee if violated)
• Guests within 50 miles must book 2+ nights, complete a short questionnaire, and leave a $250 refundable deposit
• $25/night per guest after 6 guests
• Weekly stays = 10% off | Monthly stays = 25% off
• Parties/events welcome with approval. Larger events may require 4BR upgrade
• Rental agreement, valid email & billing address required before check-in
• Use Google Maps (not Apple Maps) for directions
• Exterior security cameras and Ring doorbells at all entrances
• Pets welcome with $100 refundable deposit if house-trained, bathed weekly, and crated when unattended
• Check-in is 24/7 with keypad. In-person welcome available 9 AM–8 PM
• STRP Permit: CASR-20151341

Come Experience Nashville’s Music Heritage

This is more than a place to sleep—it’s a stay steeped in Nashville roots. From the hot tub to the firepit to playing Brenda Lee classics inside a space that echoes her early life, we’d love to welcome you to a truly memorable Tennessee getaway.

Interaction with Guests:
We live on-site in a completely separate part of the house with our own entrance. You’ll have privacy but we’re nearby if you need help.

This is a beautiful country location. My family is from the middle of nowhere originally, but my kids grew up in the city. My two year old was with us and she loved the yard and the creek, as well as the kids play set/slide. She enjoyed seeing the horses and cows in the nearby pastures. Several times we saw a flock of 40 or so turkeys with some of the males strutting around with their tail feathers fanned out. The home is as advertised. Rustic, clean, and the beds are very comfortable. Hosts were very responsive. We were staying on a house hunting trip and might be back for a long term rental depending on our home delivery date! We look forward to staying again!

This place was perfect for our mother-daughter trip with my 14 year old animal loving daughter. The property is beautiful and tucked away in a gorgeous neighborhood along a creek. Lots of opportunities to see wildlife and enjoy the outdoors. We flew in from Denver on a day that was full of severe thunderstorms and tornado watches/warnings in Tennessee and I was very anxious about the weather. The host was great about proactively communicating with me about the weather conditions and forecast, and though it's not ideally the first thing you'd have to be shown, he did immediately show us the tornado shelter on the property after we arrived and I felt he took our safety seriously. The road leading to the property is definitely in rough shape, and we got in after dark after they already had some severe weather and flooding in areas, but our compact rental car was able to handle the road just fine. It is important to keep in mind that this house is connected to the host's house and you will hear them from inside your rented portion as well as see and hear their kids playing outside. This didn't bother my daughter or me one bit, but I could see where this might be an unwelcome surprise if you aren't fully expecting this experience. We still did have plenty of privacy and enjoyed our private hot tub. We loved exploring the property and watching the cows across the road (and meeting one in our front yard that got loose haha!) Overall we had a wonderful stay and highly recommend!

This property was very relaxing. It was the first day of fall and the weather was beautiful. We were greated by Ginger the dog and wjen we left she came over to say good bye. The property had plenty for us to do. They ha a pool, hot tub, ice hock and pool table. They also had a disk swing which I ( being 57 and having back problems) found very comfortable and relaxing. We enjoyed our stay

The house was clean and cool. It was, of course, an older farm house, so rooms were small. Fun gaming area, which the kids really liked. The drive into Nashville was relatively quick. Owner/manager was very helpful throughout the stay. Overall, good value and a good stay.

Adequate accommodations for a short stay in the Nashville area. It's a quiet, comfortable, and unique place to stay. It's a bit further out from downtown Nashville than we expected. We tried using Uber but it was very expensive ($60+ one way). We found a lot of Uber drivers would cancel on us once they realized the time and distance of travel. Our first Uber driver had to be bribed an extra $20 because the quarter mile gravel/dirt driveway through tree cover at 1 AM scared her so she was hesitant to drop us at the house. So we opted to rent a car instead. We probably saved a few bucks doing so. We certainly saved ourselves the frustration of waiting several minutes for an Uber just to get canceled. This is a comfortable and cost effective place to stay if you plan on doing some travel and sight seeing in the Nashville area. The drive to the Broadway area of downtown Nashville from the accommodation averages 40 minutes with regular traffic. If you are planning on getting out to see Nashville and the surrounding areas, this is a decent place to stay if you have a rental car. But if you plan on just hanging out on Broadway for a few days, stay at a downtown hotel. In the end you'll save a few dollars. This accommodation was adequate for our needs and cost-effective for our itinerary. I would consider staying here again.
