494 Captains Cove is a gorgeous property located steps from the beach on HHI.

The condo was close to the beach, just 8 minute walk. The master bedroom and bathroom were very nice.(They must’ve been remodeled somewhat recently) When we first got there the air was not working. Lucky for us the maintenance man was there to fix something else as we checked in. He took care of the problem, thank god! The carpets in the master bedroom and the living room are should never be used for a situation where your going to have many strangers walking on it. Overall the location was perfect we had a great stay, but this place needs some sprucing up!

The condo was lovely. Master bathroom was great. We have stayed here before when it was rented as a two bedroom, so we appreciate that they opened up the upper level. Upstairs bedrooms were very hot and fans just blew hot air around-- so that was a negative. The weather was beautiful. Will definitely stay here again. Thanks

Wonderful place to stay. Peaceful, quiet, and steps from the beach. Furniture is dated but fine. Could use some brighter lightbulbs, kitchen is fully equipped. Will definitely be back.

Overall nice stay. Maintenance came promptly when asked for leak in shower door. I would suggest some sort of fan for the porch (it was too hot to use when we were there). As others have stated one master shower door does not slide and the couch is really low. The kitchen was very well stocked. Island getaways were way to work with. Would rent through them again.

The place is very clean and convienent to the beach, store,walking/cycle paths. However, I have rented from VRBO many times before and this place was the poorest in decor. You are greeted at the entrance way with two plastic chairs fron Walmart and a small rusted table. Inside is dark and the living room furniture definitely needs to be replaced. The base of the coffee table and sofas is deteriorating. The furniture on the outside porch overlooking the lagoon was filthy as was the table. I do understand pollen in the air but this furniture looked to have not been cleaned in ages. At least cover it! Very disappointed and will not go through Island rentals again.

Overall we were very happy with the condo. The master bedroom is large and the king bed was comfortable. The kitchen has plenty of counter space and lacked nothing. The living room/tv room was good although the furniture is a bit dated, but still acceptable. The bathrooms, however, are poorly lit and additional lighting is needed. The only other negative was that the adjoining unit was being renovated and it was quite noisey at times.

This is a wonderful location. Very peaceful with the lagoon right out the back that you can see from the living room, deck, or screened in porch. Beach and pool are a short walk across the street. Villa is beautifully furnished. Everything was spotless. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen had about any utensil you could imagine. Excellent location with many shops and restaurants a short drive away. Directions to log into the Internet were readily available. Unfortunately after driving over 1100 miles to get here we were only able to enjoy it for 3 of the 7 nights due to the mandatory evacuation for Huricane Matthew. Thankfully we heard that this villa did not sustain any damage from the storm, so we want to return again, hopefully in late spring/early summer. We would highly recommend this for anyone's vacation.
