3 Bedroom Villa at Trapp Family Lodge in Stowe

Great Villa. Easy access to hiking trails!

We loved staying in the Villas so much! We've stayed at Trapp Family Lodge many times before, but in guest houses. We will definitely use a villa next time as the views, privacy and accommodations were perfect for us and our family. The screened in room and large deck had plenty of room for all 8 of us and we spent a lot of time out there. The views from the villas are breathtaking so its right where we all wanted to be. The biggest improvement from the guest house is the larger kitchen, with room for 2-3 people to shuffle around in and for meals to be cooked and enjoyed inside rather than eating out for most meals. Perfect speed for picky kids and older guests (we had both)! The beds and pillows were very comfortable, the bedrooms very spacious and the bathrooms had plenty of towels and counter space for sharing. Each bedroom had its own private balcony, which was really nice for early morning risers to drink coffee and not interrupt the rest of the sleeping house. The property owner was very kind, responsive and helpful to my many questions, which is very much appreciated.

We've been going to Trapp for more than thirty years, but, this was our first stay at the Villas. The location, decor, and comfort were beyond expectation. Looking forward to our next trip.

Beautiful, clean, well appointed villa situated in heart of mountains. Quiet and private with access to restaurants and shops within minutes. Property manager exceptional response time and full of suggestions for area. Definitely would stay here again!

We have always wanted to visit Stowe, Vt and the Trapp Family Lodge and Susan’s Villa on the property did not disappoint ! We had access to all lodge amenities - hot tub , pool, fitness, with the privacy and convenience of a villa on the property. There is no resort fee but caked on to the villa, so the Trapp daily tours you do have to pay for. There were trails right out our property driveway. We took them throughout the property and every day we walked - out of 5 days of hiking for an hour a day- we saw deer every day but one. Beautiful birds, rolling hills; we came at a quiet time between summer and fall foliage. We are in our 50s and brought my parents who are almost 80 and we all had a great time. We had nightly fires in the living room and went either to the Bierhall 1/2 a mile away or into Stowe for lunch or dinner. The beds were very comfortable and each bedroom had an en-suite bathroom and balcony. Susan’s Villa is at the end of the road so it was very quiet. Thanks Susan for a wonderful week here with my parents!!
