2BR Garden Villa at Villas el Rancho / unit 1

Though this was in a great location, it was seriously lacking. We received maid service for our unit was one day only, while other friend's unit was cleaned daily. We had to go to front desk for toilet paper more than once, as they didn't regularly clean our unit. No wash clothes in unit so had to request those. They tell you you have to wash the dishes, but provide NO dish towels or dish clothes, dish soap or even a plug for the kitchen sink! We had ants all over in the bathrooms. The living furniture was unbearably hard and nearly impossible to sit on. The pool was not heated so you couldn't use it...plus it had a garden hose running into it constantly...how in the world did they manage the chemicals needed for a pool? Hot tub was not heated and water cloudy. Our door did not lock properly, so anyone could enter without a key. Housing staff spoke NO English so communicating them was impossible. Overall updating of units seriously needed as they are in poor repair and not maintained. The only saving grace was the bar/restaurant. That staff was wonderful, the margaritas outstanding, and the free breakfast was delicious. I would not stay at this VRBO again.
