Our family of 11 stayed for a week. Originally it was to have been 20, but two families had life events and couldn't make it. We had so much room to spread out we felt like royalty. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. The kitchen, which we used a lot, had space for everyone to give a hand. The outside dining area had tables that more than covered our needs. Watching wildlife was at everylevel. We were minutes from beaches and restaurants. We didn't walk to those areas, a little too far and not easily done. Remember, this is an adventure in a tropical village.A huge shout out to the staff. Gerald is an onsite manager. He was there to help if we needed. Gave us a wonderful restaurant recommendation, and everyday assistance as needed. He was never in our face, just was part of the quiet helpful staffSheiryn, was a lifesaver, quite literally. She was prompt when we arrived, walked us thru the space, gave us sights recommendations and always readily available. Her shining moment came when the passports for one family were left in a drawer. Sheiryn made arrangements for a driver to do the 4 hour drive to San Jose Airport in time for us to leave. A God send, above the call of duty.If you ever want an adventure with comfort, this is your spot. I can't say enough good things. The photos do not do enough to explain how wonderful.Wake up to roosters and Howler monkeys.

The property is well-designed for multiple families or groups of friends. The gathering area is outdoors only which is not clear in the listing but the outdoor space is nice. The bedrooms were nicely decorated and ranged from spacious to small. The outdoors is beautifully lit and very festive at night. The main kitchen is large with good surfaces for meal prep. Large frig with second one downstairs. Very responsive owner and manager. Saw Toucan and Motmot. Downsides: kitchen appliances and pots and pans need attention, grill not working, not enough towels, hot water hit or miss. Do not keep food in downstairs kitchen except in frig (wildlife), plumbing problems (addressed quickly). Road noise bothered some people-rec ear plugs. Overall good value! Also--It is 3.5 hours minimum from San Jose airport on busy roads.

The advertisement doesn’t do it justice. This place was fantastic overall. We had some glitches that took a couple days to fix but Sheiryn was terrific. One dishwasher was broken, air conditioner was broken in room 5, main bbq was broken, alternate was pretty small, didn’t have tools in site to use oven. Could use written instructions for property. Housekeeping came twice during our week and it was really appreciated! Thanks again. We will recommend this place for sure! Kathie
