We were visiting our son and I always prefer something more cozy than a hotel! The neighborhood is wonderful- we walked everywhere. We even walked down to the train and went into the city for dinner one night. Everything you need for a nice stay.
This was my second time staying in the Orenco neighborhood and my first time at ZenStay. My wife and I couldn't have been happier. Jen was the perfect host, the property was quite comfortable and exactly as advertised, and the neighborhood is lovely. Our check-in was seamless and Jen made sure to message us periodically to make sure that everything was going well. We had one special request which she cheerfully and quickly honored. My wife and I would absolutely stay here again!
Perfect location. Walk to shops and restaurants. Farmers Market across the street on Sundays. Next door to beautiful park.Very quiet and peaceful tree-lined street. Very clean and comfortable accommodations. Cute private courtyard. Easy check-in and check-out. Host is attentive but not intrusive. Hope to be back!
Second time staying at Jen's and everything was fantastic. Great location, clean place and great communication.
The studio apartment is just six steps down from the street level, with a sweet front garden area with two chairs, perfect to sit in the evening. Decorated with a bright yellow color scheme, it is nicely appointed with a small fridge, microwave and comfortable couch. Everything was very clean and fresh. The split air conditioning worked very well, even during an abnormal hot spell. The room is quiet with no noise from upstairs neighbors or the road. The neighborhood is clean and beautiful as well, with colorful flowering pots, a park nearby, and a good variety of restaurants. We enjoyed walking around the area very much. We had breakfast every morning at Tous les Jour, a bakery one block away. (Yum!) We enjoyed beer at the Orenco Taphouse (had tasty Yucatán food from a food truck), had delicious Thai at Nine Dang Fine Thai, and celebrated our anniversary at Orenco Station Grill. The nearby grocery store has everything a person might need. The MAX station is right down the street from Zen Stay and, though we didn’t use it this trip, it would easily enable anyone staying at Zen Stay to go to downtown Portland, the zoo and rose garden, and even the airport and beyond. Very convenient. Host Jen was attentive, friendly, and helpful. We would definitely recommend Zen Stay, and would love to come back again.
Fantastic stay at Jens place. Great location, clean, great communication. Will definitely be staying again.
Awesome location and awesome place for one or two adults. Everything was as advertised and no issues coming or going. Would absolutely recommend to anyone traveling to the Hillsboro area. If I’m in the area I will book again.
Wow - from the moment I reached out to Jen to inquire about her place she was amazing. Her friendly and efficient communication made us feel right at home. The place is an absolute gem located in the cutest boutique neighborhood of Orenco. You have the entire ground unit and it’s beautiful courtyard to yourselves. It was perfect for myself, my husband, and our three year old. Restaurants and the market are literally right across the street. Street parking was also plentiful. We loved the thoughtful little touches that Jen put into her place like the little welcome note with treats, the great sound bar for enjoying entertainment, and the desk as I did have to put in a little bit of work over the weekend. We also walked to the Orenco Max train station about 7 minutes down the street and we rode it to the zoo and back. Such a great way to see the city! Can’t wait to stay again. Thanks, Jen!
