Stayed Oct 25, 2023Zen is a most appropriate word. The house is 1km from the town centre and beach, up on the eastern hillside with great views. The garden is a sanctuary, and we saw many birds and butterflies plus a cat. There is a lovely pool, albeit a tad chilly at this time of year. The house is very spacious, especially for the 3 of us. Everything works. The kitchen has a range of appliances, and there is a gas braai outside. The en suite bedrooms are roomy and our bed in the master was very comfortable. The shower is a work of art, and great to use. We found the wood fire a benefit on the cooler evenings. It is a lovely feature. We look forward to returning.
