The alarm from the door entrances went off every 30 minutes all night long and the only way to shut it off was to unlock and lock it a few times. The bed was up on the loft and we had to clime down to shut the alarm off every 30 minutes. The batteries were replaced the following day by maintenance. Second night, the smoke detector alarm piping all night long. I requested partial refund but was told that the issue of door alarm was resolved and it was not in their control, therefore no compensation is offered. Will not recommend this property to anyone
We stayed at the VRBO to attend the Cleveland Gaming Classic. Host was very responsive and accommodating.
We didn't expect too much elegance for the price, but it was good to save money. It was convenient to shopping and where we were performing. The house is old and has been fixed up pretty nicely, though the lack of dishwasher and garbage disposal (and a slow-draining sink) made clean-up a bit tedious. The neighborhood is older buildings and definitely a lower-income neighborhood, but there was certainly nothing threatening. We happened to visit during the end of a heat wave, and it took a while to get the house down to 72 degrees with the window air conditioning units, but once it was there, it stayed pleasant inside. Nice beds. Good furniture. The division into three separate apartments worked well for us.
Right up front, we saw the place and walked through, but left and notified the property manager we would not stay. Driving in to the property we knew there was a problem, the nieghborhood was terrible. run down, unsafe and not a place we would ever go after dark. Pulling up to the house confirmed our fears.First of all you wouldn't recognize it from the online pictures. Trash cans strewn accross the lawn, no driveway or place to park other than the street. On the outside the house was dirty, weeds were ankle high. The interior of the house was very basic, almost looked like a frat house with dirty furniture and sparse accomodations. The light fixtures were full of dead bugs. The stairs to the 2nd unit were very steep and unsafe. The 3rd unit bedroom is accessed via a ladder. We thought we did our homework. reviewed the pictures thoroughly, checked the reviews. Going back now and reading the reviews, looking at the profiles of the reviewers, I believe they are all fake. No one would take their sales team there for a retreat, unless they sold personal protection services and needed practice. Learn from our $1700 mistake and stay away from this one. We have reached out to the property manager and asked for a refund and they have ghosted us. The property manager is located in San Antonio Texas and has no idea what this place looks like.
This nice location was a short drive to just about anywhere we wanted to visit in Cleveland. Bernie was great at getting back to me right away if I had any questions.
Our stay was very comfortable and we enjoyed the house. We loved the 3 suites and how private each area was.
Beds, pillows and linens were top notch. Place was clean and comfortable. Lots of room for family including three couples and multiple children. Separate living spaces for privacy when needed. Neighborhood was a bit sketchy but close to everything In Cleveland. We really enjoyed the nearby zoo, for example. We would definitely stay here again. Owner and manager were absolutely lovely. Friendly and accommodating and easy to communicate with. We had a wonderful stay!
We spent a nice weekend here. Communication was excellent and the house was very clean. We rented all three units, but didn’t understand they weren’t internally connected. Thanks for a terrific stay.
We were skeptical when we drove into the neighborhood, but we had no issues at all. I talked to a few of the neighbors and everyone was very friendly. We were close to alot of the attractions. The beds were great. Plenty of hot water. The communication was excellent. Any questions were answered quickly. Would definitely stay here again.
