The property was very cozy and welcoming overall. We enjoyed ourselves with our 2 dogs. The local people and businesses were very nice. We liked that several places were pet friendly. Everyone who visits must get a golf cart. They are convenient, and a blast to ride on.

This was the second time staying at the Caddy Shack. It was great again. Close walking distance to the beach. We chose this VRBO because it’s dog friendly and our dogs absolutely LOVE the beach. Morning and evening walks on the beach are amazing.

House is absolutely amazing! And the owner is amazing as well! I will be back!

Our family (two kids, two adults, and a dog) had a wonderful time. We have been coming to the AL Gulf Coast (Gulf Shores, Fort Morgan, and Dauphin Island) for years and this was the best rental experience we’ve had by far. If you have small kids and/or a dog, this is perfect for you. We cannot speak more highly of the accommodations and hosts!

Welcomed by owner & showed us around. So cute & well seaside appointed. Plenty of supplies in bathrooms & kitchen & very comfortable. Wish we could have stayed longer & look forward to hopefully returning.1

Very clean and well appointed beach house with a great owner. Super convenient to all of Dauphin Island and located centrally for ease of access to beaches, restaurants, shopping, etc. we loved our stay at the Caddy Shack and look forward to returning.

Caroline is an amazing host, the house is cozy, comfortable, and one of the cleanest properties I have vacationed in. We enjoyed our stay so much and can't wait to return .

We had another amazing stay at The Caddy Shack - even though Mother Nature wanted to make sure we saw all her fireworks and winds with big storms until Sunday. As always, the house was inviting and the perfect location across the street from the beach. We loved having our teenagers and our fur babies on Dauphin Island for the end of 2024.

We enjoyed our stay here, it was within walking distance of the beach and a nice quiet street. The house had everything we needed for some good family time !

I brought my wife, 2 kids, and our 2 dogs down for the weekend. We specifically were looking for places that allowed dogs and figured we’d have to “settle” on a place just so they could go. Couldn’t have been further from what we found at the Caddy Shack. It was perfect. Couldn’t have been more perfect. Everything we needed was there and it was less than a 2 block walk to the beach. We all highly recommend the Caddy Shack.

We loved our stay on Dauphin Island. It was a first time visiting and the people on the Island are so friendly. The home is located close to everything that we wanted to do. A short walk to the beach. We enjoyed walking our dogs in the neighborhood during the evenings. We would love to visit again.

We loved our stay. It was the perfect space for our family of 5. (2 adults, two teenagers, one dog). The little fenced-in area for the dog was a great addition. The outdoor shower is a nice touch. The walk to the beach is short. Tranquil area, great for disconnecting. We plan to come back next year! We were early getting to town but the host had it ready early and let us check in early. 5 stars all around!
