“Your Big Lake House” - Large Lakefront Home w Private Pool & Hot Tub-Sleeps 40!

This place is incredible! It's beautiful, well-maintained, and has a ton of activities. On top of that, the hosts are some of the best I've had through VRBO: they communicate well and quickly fix any problems that might arise. I can't recommend this place highly enough!

House layout inside and out was perfect for our family needs. I good time was had by all. Spaces were clean and everything extra was provided.

Facility was clean, rooms were well situated and very comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped. We had a wonderful time and used the fire ring Saturday night as we sang our devotional. Beautiful house! So much there to make everyone comfortable as well as entertained.

Wouldn’t change a thing other than maybe a new grill. The property has every amenity you could ask for. Just an amazing property!

One of a kind property that exceeded expectations. This is the second time I have reserved this house for groups of 20 and it was again a fantastic trip. The house itself is more than accommodating, the hosts have a team that is very accessible, and there is never a shortage of activities. Would definitely reserve a 3rd time!

I have stayed in many vacation homes, and I must by far THIS IS THE BEST VACATION HOME I have ever stayed at. You will want for nothing. They have thought of EVERYTHING. All you have to bring with you is your clothes. They also give you information regarding near by grocery stores, restaurants, and caterers. They are so easy to work with, and checked on you to see if anything was needed. I definately plan on scheduling our work retreat there next year. No where else compares to this place......

Will definitely look in to staying again. For a short visit, home came with everything!

This was a wonderful place to have a family reunion. This is our second trip to this home. They take care of all of the small details including a fully stocked kitchen, plenty of beds and bunks for all the kids, an ice machine, a pool with a sun cover, Great outdoor spaces. The host was very responsive. We had an issue with the air conditioning and they had a repairman on site within 2 hours. We had chef Brad from local restaurant, pops smorgasbord, cater our meals and he was the highlight of the trip. He was very comfortable working in the large kitchen. We will definitely come back again!

We had an amazing week at Your Big Lake House so much space, an amazing pool with shade, lots of things to keep the littles occupied. This house was fully stocked with towels and blankets. The kitchens were fully stocked as well,it was great to have 2 dishwashers. The kids loved the upstairs bunk room and loft! The canoe and kayaks were also great! We used the fire pit for s'mores night and the dock space was so nice too. Friendly communication and check in's from the management. Many of the moms commented on how relaxing it was. Planning a trip back with our extended family!!

We had 5 families stay here for a reunion (18 people, 8 kids age 10 yrs and younger). The hosts were super professional, friendly and responsive. The people in town were amazingly friendly as well! The kids were in the pool, on the playground, in kayaks or canoes or playing in the rec spaces inside. The kitchen and dining area was large enough to accommodate us all so we could be together for meals.Many vacations you are happy to be there, and ready to go home. Our kids begged us to stay longer and all of us adults would have easily agreed.

Amazing house! There was so much to do, we especially loved the sand volleyball court and the pool! Everything was very clean; communication with the owners was so easy. We had the best family reunion vacation!

From the moment we arrived everyone knew that this place was special. Beautiful home, fully equipped, and they thought of every possible amenity to make our trip a true vacation. All the kids had a great time, I never heard the words I’m bored! They had games and movies and pool and ping pong. PAC Man was a big hit. On our trip a huge storm blew in and caused some damage outside, the host had it repaired within a day, always checking with us to keep our needs first and foremost. The pool was awesome, fishing, kayaking, and making s’more at a bon fire are going to be special memories for us for years to come. I’m sure we will return to The Big Lake House!

It is difficult to find a place with room enough for our large family to vacation together - Grandma and Grandpa, seven adult children, spouses, and grands - but the Big Lake House was absolutely perfect. Couples had their own bedrooms, cousins LOVED the large bunk room and loft, and we all appreciated the ample gathering spaces (kitchen, living room, upstairs den, outdoor living areas). We had several days of rain during our recent stay - no problem, as the house comes with plenty of games and porch activities to entertain and occupy the littles while the grown-ups supervised and visited. At the beachfront access, the cove is fairly shallow - perfect for children - and we made extensive use of the kayaks, paddles, and life vests provided. The pool, ping pong table, and fooseball were also big hits with the family, and nearby hiking trails provided challenging adventures for both the littles and the more athletic folks in our group. Our family are cooks - we prepared and ate all our meals at the house - so the large refrigerator, well-stocked dish cupboards, and institutional size pots and pans were put to good use over the week. Check in and check out were a breeze, and our hosts were in contact throughout our stay to make sure we had everything we needed to make our stay special and enjoyable. Really can't say enough good about our stay at the Big Lake House - our time together there was such a blessing. Thank you for making this house available!

We absolutely loved the house, property and service. The house is fully stocked and has so many activities. The views are spectacular and the home is spacious and clean. We had 32 women and had plenty of space. The property manager was outstanding and very responsive. We'd book this home again!

House is spotless, it’s a beautiful setting and Dave and Destinie are great to deal with. LOVE it!!!

Absolutely everything about this property was excellent. After booking, we were sent any information that you would need at all about the property and the surroundings. The cleanliness was impeccable. The beds were extra comfy. Everything was very unique. The kitchen absolutely blew everyone in our party away. The communication with the owners was outstanding. If I could give this property more than five stars I would but it earns every five star I’m giving it! We will definitely be back..

This is our second year to stay on this property. It just gets better every year. The property is absolutely gorgeous and is perfect for our ladies event. Dave and Ann both kept us alert on the weather as we had some rolling through the state. We look forward to staying here again!

This has everything that you could possibly want or need. It is equipped with things that you don't even think about. There is plenty of room so that your not on top of each other. And the host has been very informative and communicative throughout whole experience. Can not wait to rent it again.

Our youth ministry's girls come up to this cabin every year for an annual Spring Retreat, and it fits us perfectly! It's spacious and clean, full of amenities and fun things for the students and adults to entertain themselves with, and is the perfect getaway from life for a weekend. Destinie and Dave are fantastic hosts, daily texting to make sure that we have everything we need. They have always been accommodating to our group and have even suggested ways to make our trip easier! I cannot recommend this place enough!

Dave and Ann have thought of every detail and provided so many extras for their guests. This house is performing a large group of all ages. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and cookware for large groups. We really appreciated the coffee bar area which was located out of the glow of traffic through the kitchen. We sat around the smokeless fire pit on the deck and enjoyed a comfortable evening. My group had all glowing comments about the Big Lske House!

We took our church high school youth here, and we had an incredible retreat! There was so much to do, and the accommodations were first rate! It was too cold to take advantage of the outside amenities but our youth want to come back when we can! Because they looked like a lot of fun, too!

We had a great experience at Dave and Ann’s place. It had everything we needed and plenty of space that even though we had a large group it didn’t feel crammed. Lots of outdoor activities and loved the large kitchen living room space upstairs and downstairs. We had a group of women age ranges from 20s-60s and everyone loved it!

This property is amazing. The space inside is beautiful and spacious. It is great for gathering with friends. The bunk rooms and dorm bathrooms upstairs are a dream for kids and teens. Wonderful outdoor areas, too!

This was a great house. The hosts, Bill and Ann, were fabulous. Everything we could have possibly needed was provided. The house was immaculately clean when we arrived. They provided all paper products, toiletries in the bathrooms, plenty of games and puzzles, and many DVDs. The children enjoyed the toys, trampoline, playground, and basketball goal. In spite of the rain during our stay, there was plenty to do.

This is our 2nd time renting this house for our family get together. This is set up very well for large families and groups. The dorm style bathrooms are genius!! Highly recommend.

It was an awesome stay for 8 families! The house was well stocked with everything we could think of. The hosts were quick to respond with the questions we had and were very helpful. All the kids enjoyed the spacious bunk bed room and the loft. We enjoyed the outdoor space also with grilling, kayaking and the firepit. I highly recommend this place to any one looking for a great place on the lake!

It was beautiful and clean and completely organized and equipped with everything we could possibly imagine! So beautiful and relaxing and all of the beds were comfortable. It was so fun. What a well done lake house!

We really enjoyed our stay at this property located right on the lake. Enjoyed beach volleyball, the fire pit, the many, many gathering spaces; all the wonderful kitchen appliances and great Group friendly atmosphere :) Highly recommend!

My group of colleagues from across the Southeast were amazed with the property. Tons of space. Lots of beds for a big group of 20 adults. Every detail you could think of was prepared for by the owners. I'm sure we'll be back.

This place is great! Has everything you need for a group trip from stores stuff to outside seating, bedding stuff, hospitality kits and more - so many fun things to do on the property! Super cozy place - Our college students and staff loved the stay! We will be for sure staying again years to come

From the moment we arrived to the moment we departed our stay was absolutely perfect! Our family of 32 stayed here last summer and at that time we said this lake home is perfect . . . that the owners have thought of everything. And then over the winter they put in a beautiful inground pool and a completely new dock and gathering area down at the lake!!! So, what we thought was an awesome home last year was an even way more incredible home this year. Our family cannot say enough about this place, and the host, Dave and Ann, are the best. They could not be more helpful and so very prompt in their communications. Thank you for a wonderful vacation.

This house is absolutely perfect for a great family getaway. It has everything you can ask for and some. Dave, Ann, and Destinie were great hosts and always communicated with us making sure everything was good. I highly recommend this property for anyone looking to gather with a larger group. Our family had not been together since our parents died 14 yrs ago and I was determined to get together for a happy occasions since we are not getting any younger. We looked for some place centrally located since we had families coming from Arizona to new Jersey and everywhere in between and this fit the bill. As the planner I was nervous about the house and pleasing everyone but when my daughter walked in and heard the Christian music playing she said Mom this house was meant for us, and it was. There are a lot of bunkbeds which limited sleeping space for our elderly adults so we rented a smaller house next door to accommodate those who couldn't do bunkbeds and it worked out beautifully. From the day I booked this house til the day we left the owner and manager were amazing to work with. They checked in with us during the stay to make sure we were ok and even the maintenance guy and they guy who delivered the boat were wonderful. Everyone was so accommodating and friendly to deal with. The house exceeded our expectations and the pool entertained everyone from age 70-1yr. We rented the boat in hopes of doing some water sports but the lake would go straight from 5 ft to 30 in some places and there were trees protruding from the water in a lot of places, so we just enjoyed the ride. We loved Little River Canyon and went back several days, definitely worth the hike. Thank you Anne, Dave & Destinie for the gift of a trip I will hold deep in my heart for a very long time.
