Large living room, quiet area

The 2 br unit served our needs well and was a comfortable place to stay for two nights. The back patio and access from each room was nice. It was not near any lake views but the town of Te Anu is small so everything is close. Only 2 questions came up: the loxkbox code in one email was different from another so it took us a minute to figure that out, and the complicated WiFi password was not typed correctly. We discovered various notes around the house with the proper pw on it so it seems this may also have been an issue in the past.

A cosy and comfortable little home away from home. Very clean, comfy beds and welcoming hosts.

House did the job. One of our beds was fine one was not so comfortable and the bedrooms were cold. There are a lot of cleaning rules upon check out and they asked for money if you use the dryer when the listing says no hidden fees. They were also waiting outside in a car to leave when we checked out. House is very dated, no netflix capability and the peper in the kitchen expired in 2022. Good if you are looking for no frills. Location is great and felt very private.

Access to the house was straightforward. House was well presented, well equipped and spacious. Te Anau a lovely town. Great access to Milford Sounds We had a very enjoyable stay.

This stay was like a home away from home and made us want to stay longer. The accommodation has everything you could need and is in a quiet location not far from the centre of town.

Standardized management.

The house is a 10 minute walk to town so that was excellent. The three bedroom place is big, must be nice for a family. The colors, furniture, lighting are what might have been considered modern in the 1970-s, 80's but for me the colors, furniture, art, lighting were hard to take. On cold days we could heat the kitchen/dining/living room but not the bedrooms or hallway. Noticeable when it got cold but do-able in February. I do wonder how they manage in winter. Maybe there's heat that we just didn't find. But overall it worked. And Te Anu is such an important place to visit in terms of Milford Sound and other beauty in the area.

Wow! We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. Easy walk to restaurants, stores, and the lake. Communication with the owners was easy and they were quick to respond. I would definitely stay here again if in that area.

We found this space at the last minute when our original accommodation fell through. I’m glad the original plans fell through! This home is warm and inviting. Spacious and well stocked, this is a great space for couples and families. The hosts were great at communicating checks in and out was very smooth! I highly recommend this home!

We really enjoyed our stay at Gordon and Viv's house. It was very clean and tidy and was super war and cosy. It had everything we needed,and more! So close to town too. We really appreciated being able to bring our dog to stay and she loved your house too. It was fenced very well for a dog. Thanks so much and we will definitely be coming to stay again! Maybe summer next time so we can enjoy the outdoor area too ?
